XYO Network — Blockchain based Location oracle network

The XYO Network came into existence to solve the location-reliant trade markets. The XYO network will be decentralizing the system of location oracles. These aggregators collect the possible answer from the system and send it back to the smart contract after the agreement of the clear answer with the best score. The network of components conforms and detects whether the object is at a specific XYO coordinate at a given time. It checked whether the data is accurate before sharing with the users.

How XYO Network works

The XYO Network works on the four primary components. The first one of them is Sentinels which is also referred as the data Gatherers, Bridges is considered as the data re-layers and Archivists which is the data Storers and finally the Diviners, the answer aggregators. The Sentinels job is to gather location information via sensors, radios and from other available technology. Bridges other hand collects this data from the Sentinels and sends it to the archivists to archive for future purpose. The Archivists stores this information for diviners to analyze in the later phase.

The Diviners is the advance system which developed to analyze all sorts of location data that provided to it. In the end, the Diviners analyzes the location heuristics from archivists to generate the possible answers to the queries. In addition, it rates the answers and assigns the accuracy scores to each of them. Diviners collect these answers and put back into a smart contract. The accuracy score also called as origin chain score is determined through a set of zero-knowledge proofs. It is also known as a proof of origin chain.

The chain guarantees that the two or more pieces of the data are basically originated from the same source. It will never reveal any secure information. In the process queries path generates its own set of proof of origin. It is then chained to each component it relays data to. The proof of origin is a completely new concept that builds a chain of cryptographic. It guarantees a path of re-layers in the network which generate the high confidence of real-world data. The information is shared among all the device connected to the system and process down to the very first device that gathers the data.

How Proof of Origin works

The XYO network uses the users support to establish a decentralized agreement mechanism among Diviners. The XYO network completely relies on the public, immutable blockchain known as the XYOMainchain technology that stores the query transactions along with the data gathered from the Diviners. It also stores the associated origin scores in the system to analyze the relevancy.

Selecting the best answers

The XYO Network relies on the data stored in the system and provides the single answers by fetching it from the list of answers candidates. It returns the highest validity score which has higher accuracy rating. The validity score is defined based on the origin chain score. The system has all the data to verify the origin score. It knows what the highest record origin score for particular answers of the queries. The highest origin score would be the 100 percent until a higher score is achieved. This will become new 100 percent after it is check and evaluated by the system. The XYO network has its own best answer selection algorithm that checks for the best answers from the system for a particular query. When system excludes the answer due to incorrect or inaccurate for the user’s queries, the data is sent to the archivists so they can also purge the data from their decentralized stores.
