A new idea just popped into my head. Nobody has made a game with a true and open economy that can be trusted. I'm talking something similar to second life. What I propose is building an open-world game with a real economy using bitcoins or possibly its own currency and a blockchain. A game built on a real blockchain. Kind of like how steemit, the social network has done with social media. The entire game's economy, from currency to many other mechanics could be run on an open, transparent and trusted blockchain ledger.
I am aiming for AAA studio quality. Think games like the witcher 3 or hellblade Senuas Sacrafice, but open world and you will be interconnected with everybody else with online play. You will be able to use bitcoins to purchase in game content and trade with other players directly with bitcoin. There also may be another in game currency which is the official world currency that will have a blockchain of its own and be able to be exchanged into bitcoin via a built in exchange. Very similar to how bitconnect operates with its bitconnect tokens. Players can then take advantage of the price arbitrage between the two coins and exchange rates.
Keep an eye out for future updates. I will be working on a project soon. This will be exciting. I use Unreal Engine 4 for Development. I love the engine. Plus it's free with updates! Try it for yourself. You won't regret it.
