If you have been on Steemit long enough you have probably already heard of Busy.org. If you are not using it, you are doing something wrong.
Why?
To answer that question let us first go over a quick intro of Busy.org. Like Steemit, it is a front-end social media interface to the Steem blockchain. Whatever you write or post on Busy.org, it shows up on your Steemit feed and you can interact with it the same way. You can edit the post on Steemit after posting it on Busy.org and it will reflect the changes on both.
So, there is already Steemit and I am using it.
Why use Busy.org?
All right, here is the kicker. You are rewarded simply for using Busy.org.
That is right.
When you post on Busy, you are rewarded simply by using the “busy” tag. Depending on how many followers you have and how much SP they are totting, you get a little freebie vote from Busy by posting on busy.org. It may not be much in the beginning but it certainly will entice you to produce content.
The interface is better than the interface on Steemit.com – It has a rudimentary toolbar that Steemit does not. It is not a full-blown fancy text editor but it is better than nothing is. It is also less buggy than Steemit – have you ever been frustrated by using markup and it is not reflected in your posts?
Frustrating!
Well, there is less of it on the busy editor.

Still not convinced?
If you refer authors and content creators to Busy.org, just like what I am doing now, you will receive 10% of their rewards (that they post on Busy.org) for a month. Yep. 30 days of tips from the author. You will be rewarded for inviting people from other Social Media Platform like FB and Twitter – Just post your invite link or email to your mailing list. You get to promote Steem and Steemit while getting rewarded for it!
Joining is easy!
You can use SteemConnect to link you Steemit account to busy.
Once you are signed in don't forget to grab your referral link so you can promote the platform to your friends and families and start raking in the rewards!
When you're writing a post, make sure to use the TOPIC/TAG "busy" to get an upvote/like from the Busy.org account.

That's all there is to it!

Not only does using Busy.org decentralize usage of the platforms building on Steem, busy.org definitely has a better UI and the Busy Boost is a cool feature.

There are few good things that comes with using busy.org.
You get to see all your information and motivation on the platform. You really don't need other external application, busy.org gives you all the information you need plus a voting slider for minnow.
The only downside is I rarely receive upvote from them despite posting from it and using 'busy' tag.

That's weird. I've always gotten a vote from them. They do only vote ONE post a day from you though.

What happens to the referral bonus if we use an already existing steemit username to login to busy.org?

You get the referral bonus if you get new users to use/signup for Busy.org - that also means existing Steemit users who connect their account to busy.org.

Interesting... I think I might check out Busy. Seems like it could help me out getting started maybe. Do you need to use the "busy" tag as your first tag or does it just have to be in one of the tags to receive the upvote?
