You have to WORK to earn money... Who would tell that? :) STEEM is not a Ponzi scheme... it's not a fast-earning machine... Deal with it... If you are fine with that, you can continue with reading... :)
You don't have an idea of where to start on Steem and CTP Talk? You aren't ready to start to blog about something? Do you know that you can earn money by COMMENTING on others' posts? Yes, it's true... Every comment on the STEEM is counted as a post, and others can upvote your comments... And 7 days after you posted the comment, you will receive half of its value. You don't have to make posts...
Create valuable and useful comments, for the author and for other readers of the post. Give some ideas, show your creativity, show your appreciation... I'm 100% sure that someone will recognize your effort and your care.
There are authors out there that upvote every single comment on their posts... In that way authors engage with their readers, followers, showing appreciation for the effort and time spent on reading/watching...
I personally know at least two persons that do that... :) One of those two is @jongolson and the other one is me... :) I upvote every comment with my CTP curator account @ph1102.ctp and I try to answer at every comment that you leave. So, if you left a comment on this post, check out your CTP wallet after one week for some CTP tokens... :)
CTP token is tradeable on https://steem-engine.com, so you can either sell them or stake them... If you decide to stake them, then you can do the same as I'm doing... Searching for good content and upvote them... And earn more CTP tokens by doing that...
There are numerous ways of earning money on STEEM... Commenting on posts is one of them... You still didn't find your way? What is your excuse?

One slight correction here: After 7 days of the COMMENT, not the post, you will receive the payout for it, if there is one.
Unfortunately comments as a way to be rewarded aren't what they used to be. But it'll get better. And... I've seen some people with high enough stakes to make their upvotes meaningful who mostly curate comments. Plus, there is your way: upvoting comments with the alt for the tribe rewards.
However, great comments make you stand out. People notice you when you are small and your posts don't get seen other ways. You can make friends this way.

Great advice @ph1102, and with the tokens like CTP they will get a payout, while in Steem that might not always be the case, the dustlevel is at $0.02, so I use 2 dustservices to take care of that, and I always upvote every comment that I get, keep up your great work man and stay awesome.
