Before leaving, the Lord Jesus Christ promised that he would not leave us alone; he would send the Holy Spirit and we would never be alone.

And I will pray the Father, and he will give you another Helper, that he may abide with you forever; 17 even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees him nor knows him; but you know him, because he dwells with you and will be in you.

18 I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you.

John 14:16-18

I am aware and understand that at some point in our lives loneliness can creep in without further ado. But as children of God we must always remember that we are not alone because God has allowed the Holy Spirit to always accompany us.
Let us just think for a moment that we cannot promise something like that, we will never be able to always be by someone's side, whether it be by distance, time, or even death can intervene and separate them from other people. But God in his great love and great power has sent his Holy Spirit to live in us and thus fulfill the promise he had made of never leaving us or forsaking us.

5 Let your conduct be without covetousness, content with such things as you have; for he has said, I will never leave you, nor forsake you;

Hebrews 13:5

Even though we may have that idea, human beings have been created to live with others, God has designed us and we are complete when the Holy Spirit comes to dwell in us, we do not only have a desire, it is necessary to be saved to be complete, this is the complete and perfect work of God.
There are people who ignore the Holy Spirit of God, they ignore the work of Jesus Christ on the cross of Calvary, an example is when people try to hold on to the faith by their own strength or simply without feeding themselves or reading the word of God, these people undoubtedly allow the lack of peace, the loneliness to make a place in their lives, in their hearts.
The Holy Spirit has been sent with multiple purposes with the most important of these being that it is that companion who walks by our side, who sustains us day by day, if we stay away, we are also moving away from God in some way. But when we ask God for his Holy Spirit to guide our steps and we allow it, we also ask that he open our minds and our hearts, I have no doubt that the Holy Spirit acts according to the plan and will of God. I only invite you to imagine this and then rationally seek God in prayer and ask that your Holy Spirit guide you, that He reveal to you that word that will speak to you day after day and I am sure that loneliness will have no place in your heart.
