        It really is amazing how fast people can lose thousands of dollars due to exchanges and there isn't shit you can do.

          Surely it is best to stor crypto in a private wallet to avoid this? Excuse my ignorance, i am very new to crypto and still learning.

              Right. i see. Storing it here on the Steem blockchain is safe though i assume (unless somehow your keys get hacked - which i think is pretty much impossible?).
              Only possible drawback is that everyone can see how much you have (including the taxman!)
