Over the last several days, we’ve examined all of the relevant issues and have decided to work on adding support for bitcoin cash for Coinbase customers.
Great great great move my coinbase. Put your customers first. If you had Bitcoin in coinbase at the time of the fork you will be credited bitcoin cash.
As to when this will all be implented Coinbase had to say,
We are planning to have support for bitcoin cash by January 1, 2018, assuming no additional risks emerge during that time.

Only reason they are adding it is to avoid any legal action when people take them to court to explain why they kept millions worth of a free coin. The coin is still going to be dead.

Yeah what will the price even be by January? Seems like a conservative approach by coinbase. If it falls to shit then Coinbase can be like "well I guess we don't need to spend all this time implementing it. "

It was to be expected. Coinbase is not dumb. With that said, their customers missed a great opportunity for huge trading profits when Bcash was first released. But then again their customers should have put their btc elsewhere.

I honestly didn't think BCC would be worth what it is now and didn't move my funds off coinbase. That's on me but luckily all my funds aren't on coinbase.

I moved my coinbase funds just in case. I'm glad I did, but the only exchange I'm really on other than that is Bittrex and they didn't have their BCH wallet ready to make any 'trades' with like I had hoped to; congrats to all who were able to sell off those early gains on day one of BCH! I saw it get as high as $700

that's what winning looks like! :) --- I know one thing for sure; it's slow!! gotta see if a transaction finally went through -- (moving some bch to bittrex) 4 hours later it was still pending; noticed others on Twitter with the same problem.

Well at least you're taking responsibility. I read that coinbase will be crediting Bcash by Jan 2018 (which seems like a long time!) so that's good. And by then Bitcoin cash could be worth far more than now. so maybe you will get a nice surprise!

It´s great for coinbase and for the custumer. It´s fair. This type of manners has to be standard for all. But minimal one things coinbase must improve - support...
