What is the Steem Engine?
STEEM ENGINE is a platform that allows communities, project owners, fundraisers, developers and businesses to quickly and easily use the Steem blockchain like never before. This means that it can execute user intelligent contracts based on data published in the Steem blockchain.
Steem Engine allows you to create your own tokens (no coding is required) and smart contracts in the STEEM blockchain.
Tokens ENG
ENG is the native token of the Steem Engine platform, just as ETH is the native token of the Ethereum platform. Currently, ENG is required to create a new token on the Steem Engine platform, and in the future ENG will be required for publishing and executing custom smart contracts. For trading the ETH token, the platform is developing an internal DEX (a new technology that simplifies cryptocurrency trading).
