I've noticed that some people have been having difficulties watching videos on DTube lately (especially if you have a slow internet connection) so in this video, I explain how to compress your content before uploading it in order to allow viewers to easily watch it.

    I also added a little bitrate indicator on the upload page, so now you can see the bitrate of your file directly in dtube. Anything over 8 MB/sec is not-recommended, and will not play correctly on shit connections

        Thank you so much for providing this! As a viewer on DTube, I can assure you that I immediately stop trying to watch any video that takes more than a few seconds to start playing (this from someone who definitely does not have a shit connection but is simply the typical impatient of most of us Americans online nowadays).

                Oh the irony...
                It does not take me to your video, it takes me to the dtube homepage.
                In addition to problems uploading and watching dtubes, some of the videos I DID upload disappeared...
