Been researching crypto trading platforms that actually work well in the UAE, and figured Iβd share what I found in case it helps anyone else in 2025.
β Binance β Still probably the best all-around exchange. Massive range of coins (350+), low trading fees (0.1%), and theyβre licensed by ADGM. Super useful for spot trading, staking, even NFTs. Only downside: can be a bit much for total beginners.
β OKX β Great if you're focused on low fees. Theyβve got zero deposit/withdrawal fees, 0% maker and 0.2% taker fees, plus support for 300+ tokens. Regulated by VARA too. UI takes a little getting used to, but solid once you're in.
β AvaTrade β More of a traditional trading platform (also does forex, commodities, etc). If you want to trade crypto and traditional assets in one place, might be worth checking out. Regulated in ADGM.
β BitOasis β Local exchange based in Dubai. Supports AED and USD pairs. Feels more "regional," which is nice if you're looking for something aligned with local rules. App is solid but selection is smaller, and fees are slightly higher.
β Rain β Another strong regional option (Bahrain-based but licensed in UAE). Very secure, supports AED, and Sharia-compliant if thatβs a priority. No trading fees, but there's a $15 withdrawal fee which can add up.
β Kraken β Good for experienced traders. High liquidity, lots of advanced features like stop-loss/limit orders. Not the flashiest UI, but very reliable. Regulated and secure.
π‘ TL;DR:
New to crypto? β Try Binance or BitOasis.
Fee-sensitive? β OKX is your friend.
Want local/regional support? β Rain or BitOasis.
Advanced trading? β Kraken or AvaTrade.
If anyone else has experience using these in the UAE, would love to hear your thoughts. Hope this helps someone looking to get started in 2025 π
