Facebook really is having a bloodbath now. It is getting crushed in the stock market, shareholders are going nuts.

What actually made its market price to plunge such rapidly ??

One of the partner's of Facebook joined hands with Cambridge Analytica(An IT service management company) to breach data of millions of Facebook users. This duo influenced US voters by checking people's profile and sending appropriate psychological advertisements to swing US elections.

This is what eventually happens with all the centralized communities. I'm not completely antagonistic towards Facebook, indeed it offered us many benefits but breaching people's privacy is completely unacceptable. Centralized communities either sell their people's privacy or doesn't put any efforts to secure it.

This incident is captivating people's eye towards decentralization and it's the time to promote our love. All the data stored in the blockchain is decentralized. Additionally, decentralized platforms like Steemit is offering earnings to people. Many are making fortunes from this platform.

Facebook's market value plunged down drastically and it has become just double of crypto market's value. Maybe we could expect that in a few months crypto rises and both become parallel in market value.

It's time to promote STEEMIT and decentralization !!!  Anyways my hands always tend to Steemit than any other social media. Let's see what happens.

What's your opinion? Is the tree of centralization started to get uprooted?

You're right on this one! Decentralization is the only logical step, especially since people are tired of giving large companies their private info to sell on a whim.

yeah, people really got exhausted by the false promises made by the companies. Everyone is seeking a change. Giving our information to some companies is just like giving them the stick to hit on our backs. Thanks for stopping by brother :).
