In a memo obtained by Axios, the NSC wants to nationalize emerging 5G networks, specifically to “protect” Americans from China and other “Bad Actors”.
They claim that due to 5G’s potential to be in so many devices it needs to be controlled because it puts us at a disadvantage with China and AI... yea weird huh?
I’m not sure what the correct answer is here at the moment because the new FISA regulations give the government unlimited spying powers as it is... and with google and Twitter censoring content and removing accounts I don’t see how we can have an open internet anymore.
Many people are worried that the NSA will be in control of what we have access to and I am worried we are headed in that direction either way.
