The picture is taken in the winter months over Sam sand dunes in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan. If you visit Rajasthan, then Sam or Khuri sand dunes are one of the must-visit places in Jaisalmer. A trip to Rajasthan without spending time in Jaisalmer is really an incomplete one.
