You can use PeakD and Hive keychain when you post on Hive blockchain. Hope you will not face this problem.
As far as I know from the announcement, there will be Hive Engine on Hive blockchain. If the founder of SportsTalkSocial takes initiative, there is a chance to do better.

Yes slowly am understanding the hive platform, but my feeling is the user base is much lower compared to steemit.
