Faith in Christ is the strength of the Christian. Whoever throws himself like a child into the arms of the Eternal Father, he will live a full life marked by love. Whoever is afraid does not bear witness to God's love or his faith; fear can only make a home in us if there is no faith or if it decays. When we feel anxiety or fear, we should only place ourselves in God's hands with conviction and act with the confidence that He cares for us, and that no matter what happens, our soul will be safe in His arms.

casting all your anxiety upon him, because he careth for you. (1 Peter 5, 7)

  Let us remember the promise narrated by the psalmist "or Jehovah will not cast off his people, Neither will he forsake his inheritance." (Psalms 94, 14). May moments of difficulty not make us forget that, through Christ Jesus, we have become part of the people of God, children of the Beloved Father and heirs of the Kingdom. Let us be a reflection of God's love in our lives, let us not give place in us to the darkness of fear, let us trust in the Lord who is the lamp that guides our steps.

  Let us not tire of asking the Holy Spirit to inspire in us all the good that can come from Him. Amen.

  La fe en Cristo es la fortaleza del cristiano. Quien se arroja cual niño entre los brazos del Padre Eterno, vivirá una vida plena signada por el amor. Quien tiene miedo no da testimonio del amor de Dios ni de su fe; el miedo sólo puede hacer morada en nosotros sí no hay fe o sí ésta decae. Cuando sintamos ansiedad o miedo sólo debemos ponernos en manos de Dios con convicción y actuar con la confianza de que Él cuida de nosotros, y que pase lo que pase, nuestra alma segura estará entre Sus brazos.

Echando toda vuestra ansiedad sobre él, porque él tiene cuidado de vosotros. (1 Pedro 5, 7)

  Recordemos la promesa narrada por el salmista "El Señor no abandonará su pueblo ni desamparará a su heredad" (Salmos 94, 14). Que los momentos de dificultad no nos hagan olvidar que, por Cristo Jesús, nos hemos hecho parte del pueblo de Dios, hijos del Padre Amado y herederos del Reino. Seamos reflejo del amor de Dios en nuestras vidas, no demos lugar en nosotros a la oscuridad del miedo, confiemos en el Señor que es lámpara que guía nuestros pasos.

  No nos cansemos de pedir al Espíritu Santo que inspire en nosotros todo lo bueno que de Él puede proceder. Amén.
