Our Child sickness took us to hospital

Parenting comes with joy, happiness and stressful moments. It is a joy of every parents to see their children in good health but when their health condition deteriorate we get worried and rushes to fine solutions to restore their health immediately irrespective of what it will cost.

l have never understand everything about motherhood until the day I joined the crew that I noticed that each day is full of observation and studying of my children's body language and tone to know thier needs and attain to them. It's not easy but it is a joyful journey that demands time, patient and attention. But I would say... I'm enjoying it 🥰. Hahahah 😂.

Children are always fun to be with because they can make you smile, play, talk, sing and shout. I see that they have capability of playing for a long time and learning as well. The don't get tired in asking questions and learning new things, but at a time, they would get sick. My first feeling is always empathy , I greatly feel their pain and discomfort but my husband's support is always 💯 percent. I appreciates him for that.

Sunday 20/4/ 2025 was another day with joy in the morning and stressful in the evening. Waking up in the morning, everyone was delighted because my second daughter clock 4 months old. We were extremely happy to see that she is going fast and our smile is always contagious.

We carried out our normal morning routine and then breakfast. Since we are attending Christian meetings by 3:30 pm, we decided to study Watch tower as a family in preparation before that time. It highlights severally on how we as individual should be grateful to God and Christ Jesus for the ransom and to build our faith in forgiveness of our sin.Thereafter my first daughter complained of pain under her mouth.

Actually, on Friday night before now, she showed us boil under her mouth, first aid treatment was administered immediately. Through out Saturday, she didn't complain of any pain but on Sunday afternoon after eating she run temperature and when tested with thermometer it was 37.5⁰c. I decided to give her the available analgesics at home. She was still strong, playing around the house, signing different nursery rhymes for her baby sister.
We prepared ourselves to Christian meeting to Christian meeting by the said time. Alone the way she slept off.

Waking up she became restless and very weak. I decided to step out of the meeting an get oral rehydration solutions (ORS) for her after taking it, the condition became worse. The Boil expand beyond the jawline and the chin became inflamed, swollen, red and tender to touch. My daughter change in a twinkle of an eye, the sudden onset confused me that I didn't have to take chances than a proper health care.

I had no option than to move to a clinic. We took her to BEBIS INTERNATIONAL CHILDREN CLINIC.

Reaching there, there was no doctors on sit but the nurse on duty attended to us and called a prediatrican attention for us. We waited for an hour before his arrival. The nurse on duty Carried out her vital signs and her temperature was 39.5⁰c. I requested for tepid sponging and she did it.

Thereafter, Doctor came assess her and diagnosed cellulitis. Different Medication was given to her and after two hours she regained her self. I was delighted to see her quick relieved. We paid the Bill and returned home. Throughout the night she slept fine, waking up on Monday the boil burst and pus was coming out.
