When ever I remember steemit is like am recalling an angel sent by God in a form of platform. Am a student of Abia State University, Computer Science Department, my parents are farmers, I was passing through difficulty in school, very hard to pay even my school fees and textbooks and manual at 200 level I decided to drop out cause the frustration was unbearable for me to endure.
I stopped attending lectures, I taught all hope is lost until I met a friend @Offia66, who introduce me to steemit.
When he introduced me to this great platform, at first I doubted him because of the rate of fraud and scammers in Nigeria, but later convinced me the platform was looking strange to me, until it came to my notice that steemit is a social media were you can express your self according to the community you join.
Impacts
I call steemit an angelic platform, because of steemit I didn't become a school drop out, do you know how shameful it would have been to me and my family, how relative and friends would have mocked my family, one of the great impact from steemit is by supporting my education.
Am shy to say it that I don't know how to cook, but I joined steemit and everything changed, now I can cook with the help of steemfood community.
I joined this community to be a good writer, so I know with hard work and devotion I will become a good writer without plagiarism. This is my first post in this community.
