Eid is over, now we have to focus on agriculture. The weather is not favorable, some of our almond fields are waterlogged. If water remains like this for 3/4 days, the almonds will be damaged. We started harvesting almonds from the day after Eid. We sowed almond seeds in these almond fields late, which resulted in them being hit by this monsoon.

We have hired a few teams of workers on contract basis who will only harvest the nuts from the fields. We have to dry these nuts ourselves. We went to the almond field in the morning and met the workers and they are continuing their work. The work is slow due to the waterlogging and the high temperature is tiring the workers even more. This time we will have to spend more money to harvest the nuts than usual. This problem is ours because the weather is not favorable.
However, not all the almond fields have waterlogged, only some have. We have hired workers in all the fields from today. It will take 3 days to harvest the almonds and dry them in the sun. It is very important that the weather is favorable for us to harvest these almonds.

We come after noon to lift the nuts from the water to the shore. It is a very hard job for us. We started the work by washing the mud, cleaning the nuts, putting them in a burlap sack and carrying them a little distance, tying the sack around our necks. We have not been able to work in the sun for a while, we are resting in the shade and drinking plenty of water.
We continued working like this for about 3 hours. Finally we managed to lift all our nuts from the water onto the shore. Some people came who were taking the extra almond trees cut down as green grass for their cows.

We will now spread our nuts in the sun. My hands are in bad shape from repeatedly plucking the raw almond trees. We have just started the work on today's nuts and this work will continue at a faster pace from tomorrow. The weather is good and we need the sun now in the intense temperatures.
I went to my uncle's house in the evening. My younger uncle has started a small-scale farm with 200 ducks. I went to my uncle's house and spent some time with him listening to his plans. I am finishing up today. The intense temperature has made me tired all day and now I need sleep.
@abdul-rakib A challenging yet inspiring day Your hard work despite waterlogging and heat is admirable. Wishing you good weather and a successful almond harvest. The duck farm visit sounds lovely too
