Water is one of the basics of life as it is used in all daily activities.
This gift of nature is not found questionable in transportation, in the kitchen, in industries, for personal use and hygienes and lots more.
Water could come in any form. Right from tap, well, sea, rain, spring, etc.

But here on this post, the importance of water in agriculture would be talked about
The versatile resource could be made available on the farm by proper irrigation systems or wells, tap or boreholes.
Anyone deciding to venture into agriculture of any form would definitely have to consider creating a reliable and good source of water.

USE OF WATER IN AGRICULTURE

FOR CROPS GROWTH: water through various irrigation systems is provided into the farm to water the crops. Growing plants without a source of moisture could lead to their death. Apart from rainfall, it is also not a bad idea to water the plants once in a while using watering cans or sprayer.
FOR AGRICULTURAL SANITATION: while on the farm, getting our hands or other parts of our body into dirts is inevitable. Water at the end of the day is necessary for hygiene and also for the cleaning of the equipment and tools after using before well dried and stored to prevent rusting
Those who keep livestock would also testify to the great importance of water to them. Cleaning where the birds, cattle, herds and others stay would require this nature's gift.
FEEDING: not only humans drink water; farm, domestic and wild animals also get thirsty. After being fed, it is mandatory to have the livestock drink enough water. Providing clean water for them keep them hydrated and healthy.
FOR FOOD PRESERVATION: to keep foods presentable and fresh, water is also needed; this is especially after harvest. Foods like peppers vegetables, fruits, cassava etc are thoroughly and carefully washed before transporting them to market for sale or before processing.
Additionally, water plays a crucial role in aquatic farming. What's a pond without water? Lots of it? Fishing farming requires abundant and clean water especially if it is an artificial pond where the water needs to be changed regularly
