I would like to talk to you about what I understand and understand about the mentioned word downvote. Like steemit and unique social media platforms
I will use the questions below and explain my understanding of like and dislike as common terms and downvote.

Share your understanding about downvotes.

There are two sets of people in Steemit writers and curators. Authors are those who write and publish registrations. Curators are the ones who vote on registrations. Although authors also have voting rights. Curators have some steam powers. Curators on the other hand usually don't post. But they can post if they want. Mainly, curators vote on our posts. There are two types of votes one is upvote and the other is downvote.

Upvote means that your post is acceptable to the users and the quality of the post has improved. Then you can earn upvotes. And on the other hand
Downvote means your post quality is not good. And if the quality of the post is not good, you will be downvoted.
I understand from the above image that the green button is an upvote and the red button is a downvote.

How do downvotes affect our accounts? Describe.

Downvote for a steemit account is very damaging. Whenever something bad is seen in your post, and if any abuse is seen through the post, your account will be downvoted.

We should all save our accounts from downvotes and posts with caution. That's why big accounts will influence your post by downvoting it. Then you will lose the ability to earn from your account. Like those who are phishing links to get others to click we see people with big Steem Power scare them away and become irrelevant at some point.

Do you think downvotes can help reduce plagiarism, abuse, and spam? Share your opinion.

If any of our posts are plagiarized. Then the post was downvoted. And downvote is very serious damage to an account downvote I can believe that downvoting will go a long way to control abuse in the Steemit platform. In my opinion, there should be an account where the abuser is responsible for downvoting the user. And in between we will have a good platform. "Where does honesty come live honestly"

So if we want to maintain this account nicely. Then we have to stay away from abuse so we can stay away from downvotes. And it will be good for the account,
