First of all, I want to say a big thanks to @boss75 and @steem.sports for giving us search a wonderful contest and I’m glad to participate.
The benefit of powering up.
Powering up helps boost our accounts and also lets people know how serious we are in this great steemit blockchain which is why @steemitblog introduced the club5050 program which states that you must power up 50% of your earnings.
In this case, I’m going to power up all my earnings for the week which is 2.645 SBD which is equivalent to 29.85 steem.
Steps.
1)I converted my 2.645 SBD to 29.85 steem.
2)I went straight, clicked on steem, and then clicked on power-up.
3)It took me to a new page where I enter the amount I want to power up and clicked on power-up for the process to be complete

Before I powered up, I had 394.525 steem power.
After powering up, I now have 425.312 steem power.
