Explanation

Today, I am going to share my watermelon drawing with you all. Let’s take a look at how I completed my drawing.

πŸ‰πŸˆStep I

1000044895.jpg1000044896.jpg

First, I gathered the necessary materials and then used a pencil to draw an outline of a watermelon on white paper. After that, I drew a line across the middle of the watermelon. Similarly, I added a few more lines on both sides of this middle line using a pencil.

πŸ‰πŸˆStep II

1000044899.jpg1000044900.jpg

Now, I will draw a watermelon slice on the left side of the whole watermelon. To do this, I first drew a guideline using a ruler. Then, I created the outline of a watermelon slice. Once the slice was drawn, I added a few seeds inside the watermelon.

πŸ‰πŸˆStep III

Next, I drew another long watermelon slice at the bottom. I also used a ruler to make this slice. After drawing it, I added a few seeds inside this slice as well. From the picture, you can see that I have drawn a whole watermelon and two watermelon slices. Now, it’s time to add colors to my drawing.

πŸ‰πŸˆStep IV

1000044909.jpgStart to color

For coloring, I started with the whole watermelon. First, I colored the top stem part green. Then, I used dark green to color the lines that I had drawn on the watermelon earlier. After that, I applied dark green to the outline of the watermelon slices on the left side.

πŸ‰πŸˆStep V

1000044915.jpg1000044916.jpg
1000044918.jpgUsing gel pen for its outline

Now, I colored the white portions inside the whole watermelon using yellow. Then, I added light green over the yellow, creating a combination of both colors. Next, I used dark green and black to create spots on the watermelon, giving it a realistic design. After that, I used a gel pen to outline the green lines inside the whole watermelon as well as its outer outline.

πŸ‰πŸˆStep VI

Now, I started coloring the upper sliced portion on the left. I used red for the inside, while the lower part of the slice had a combination of light green and a little yellow, leaving some areas white. The upper slice was now complete.

πŸ‰πŸˆStep VII

Next, I colored the lower slice. I followed the same method, using red for the inside and a combination of light green and yellow for the border, leaving some areas white. Then, I used black to color the seeds, leaving a small portion white to add a natural effect. The coloring of the watermelon slices was now complete. Finally, I used a gel pen to outline the slices.

From the picture, you can see that my drawing and coloring are now complete. I captured a picture of my drawing using a tag. Then, I took a selfie with my drawing as proof.

πŸ‰πŸˆStep IX

1000044949.jpgWater Droplets on the right side

To make the watermelon drawing look even more realistic, I added a few water droplets on top of the whole watermelon. If you observe carefully, you will notice the water droplets.

Here are some photographs of my watermelon drawing.
