(Esp-Eng) SFS Contest Picture of the Day Week 38

My son graduated! Yes, finally after 5 years in computer engineering he made it. Or I meant to say, we made it. In the year 2023 he graduated and last year he got his degree.

It was a CONSTANT FIGHT. We were always looking for the resources to pay for the initial semesters, then the struggle to pay for the remaining semesters in two parts. The struggle to pay what was required to pass the semesters. Teachers are paid separately to give individual classes because the difficult teachers are not interested in the student's learning, but rather that they always remain in their classrooms each semester. This way they keep their quota of students fixed to remain in their status.

There is everything in a university. Illustrious professors committed to the honor of their name and the protection of the name of the institution they represent. There were also those who did not give a damn about what their good name meant and were on the lips of all the students and their colleagues.

My son and I went through very difficult situations. My jobs were not enough to get all the money I needed to pay and have money left over for our diary.

So I started writing on this Stemit platform, I tried very hard to get money that would keep me going and that would pay for my son's needs. It wasn't easy either but it did help me.

So much effort was worth it, I was able to do so much with my own hard work and my son's desire to finish his degree. Only in the end he panicked and did not want to continue insisting on graduating. Another challenge he overcame. He continued studying and presented his thesis. He won it, passed it, and graduated.

Today it is only a memory of the great effort he undertook. It seems like nothing. Seeing these photos of my son's graduation is a reminder that I had a lot of strength to take him as far as I could. Now I have the consolation that I took him little by little to where he is now. Now it is up to him to go as far as he wants to go, because to wish is to be able to.

These are his friends from his entire computer engineering career. They had a little reunion here at home and they were all very happy.

Yes, my son graduated in 2023 and the degree was awarded to him last year. He is not working as an engineer yet because there are no decent sources of jobs here but he is working online and helping me.

Thank you very much I will let him know about your opinion that you have of my son, hehe

It was a hard struggle and over here it's the same. We tried more than one school, education, in the home country and abroad and my son still says he feels more stuoid and brain rot if he visits university. Just two minths ago he received a small fee which is a big help but he says the international class is too stuoid to live, not motivated and rarely present and the same counts for those "teaching".

He learns more at home in one day as he does in two years. So he wants to switch but we have no idea if it's possible.

I recognize what your son said by giving up. The struggle to find ways to pay and stay motivated takes a lot of energy and thr hoax years didn't make it any better. It is my belief this is a worldwide problem created purposely to reduce thinking, demotivate studying and create more easy to manipulate people.

If I think back of every mountain climbed all I feel is relief while thinking it's nearly over and... Never again!

I wish you both a good Saturday!

🍀♥️

As single mothers, we have had to fight hard to help our children achieve.

I have told my son that I had to grow up and climb my walls with my own strength and endurance. I fought alone in my war and I succeeded. That is why I tell him that now we are stronger together and as long as I can help him and push him towards a better life for him, I will be here as long as God allows it.

It's amazing how strong we turn out to be if we have to — even if we are exhausted. I tell you I find it hard to imagine today how I managed all those jobs with being a mom, all those fitghts with schools and lack of sleep, not to forget the never ending calculations. You are right: you did it and and if you can he can too, it's step nu step.

Today you both have something to be proud of.

😁♥️🍀
