Hello Steemit friends,

Today, I will participate in the new contest from Steem Fashion&Style brought by the honorable Admin @ashkhan ma'am. The name of the Contest is"SFS Contest Picture of the Day Week 38". Thank you Steem Fashion&Style for bringing this beautiful contest to us.
Pahala Baisakh is a significant day in Bengali culture. The rich and the poor forget their worries and celebrate the country's traditions in a festive atmosphere. You may have understood by now which festival I am talking about. Yes, I am talking about the Bengali New Year. This day has a lot of roles in Bengali culture. Since the time of Emperor Akbar, special arrangements have been made to welcome this day. At the same time, this day is celebrated with the resolve to overcome old grievances and spend the coming days with new enthusiasm.
Every year, this special day is celebrated with special programs. As the days go by, the enthusiasm to welcome this day is increasing. At the same time, new plans are being made to celebrate the day.
According to the calendar, April 14th is our 1st Baisakh, i.e. Happy New Year. To welcome this day, I go to the historic Ramna Batmul. This is a historical place. The New Year is officially started from here. On the New Year’s Day, people start gathering here early in the morning. Girls attend the fair wearing white saris with red borders of Bengali culture. Boys wear special clothes and participate in the festival. I go to the main event. Hundreds of people have come here today. Everyone's eyes are filled with joy.
Ramna Batmul is a historical place. Here, Chayanot presents Bengali culture to everyone. Through music, they spread our culture to everyone. This place occupies a huge area. Hundreds of security personnel are deployed to provide special security to the entire place that day.In their presence, we wander around the entire Ramna with great joy.
Ramna Park is also worth seeing. Nature has laid bare all its beauty here. Also, a huge lake inside Ramna Batmul has given the place a special dimension. There is a beautiful road on both sides of the lake to enjoy the beauty of the lake. On one side, nature and on the other, the clear water of the lake brings a festive atmosphere to the mind. It is impossible to imagine that there will be a New Year festival and there will not be a local fair.
Therefore, it can be seen throughout the entire courtyard, shops selling various local toys. Local gifts for the beloved children at home must be bought today. Decorations are everywhere. In the middle of this, there is also a stall selling another popular food of our culture. That is the morning panta bhat and hilsa fish. Without eating panta bhat with hilsa fish, Baisakh is not complete. Therefore, no matter the price, there must be a hilsa festival on this day.
To welcome this day of our tradition and to color it with the colors of the festival with the native culture, I wandered around Ramna Batmul all day. To introduce the Bengali New Year to my Steemian friends, I have presented some pictures from that day in this contest.
