Weekly Contest 27 || The Diary Game || Share How You Spent Your Day

My Sunday was full of many activities, going to the church, coming back, then attended a wedding in my neighborhood and finally plaiting my colleague's hair. All these are the pileup activities that I engaged in on Sunday. It was all good and I was grateful to God that I was able to carry it out successfully.

HOW I SPEND MY SUNDAY

That beautiful morning as I woke up, checked my time, it was 6am dot, said to myself, Love, you've slept enough 🤣. I spend time to communicate with my creator for His mercy towards me and how far He has brought me in life. After the long thanksgiving prayer to God, I picked my phone and scrolled through my music archive and played the choir song that we are going to minister, I placed it on a repeat so that while I am busy preparing for church, I will sing alongside with it to refresh my memory.

After that I dressed my bed before living the living room to do another other thing, dressing my bed has always being my first routine of the day immediately I stepped out of my bed. Then I went straight to my bathroom and took a shower, from there I brushed my mouth too.

I dressed up very well and modest with my choir dress, then I give a call out to my girlfriend in church to know if she is ready so that we can meet up with the church bus that normally goes around to pick up members, luckily she was already on her way coming to the junction we usually wait for the bus.

We actually spend about 10minutes waiting for the bus, we the bus finally arrived, we were told that it was holdup that delayed them on the way, so we entered and the driver moved.

Inside the bus I decided to take some photos, and the lady I was seated with was so funny that she didn't want me to snap her but when I told her I want to post her on my blog she now obliged.

My driver is always fast, like his speed is always a top-notch, he knows how to navigate the road while driving, he's an elderly man of about 70years but his sense of driving feels like a man of mid 40years, I love his driving sense, one day I will appreciate him by the grace of God.

We arrived the church in no time, and I walked straight to my seat by the choir stand and sat pretty well. Though when we arrived the church the Sunday school lesson has just finished and it was worship session, my best part ever, I was glad that I meet up with the worship and praise session because if I should missed that session then there's no joy in going to church that very day.

So after the church praise and worship, the leader of the service now took over and conducted the service till the end , it was a brief service, as my Papa (pastor) didn't intend to keep the member waiting for long, due to the fact that he has a meeting to do with some few Deacon boards.

As we dismissed from the church, thank God the choir did not have any meeting to hold, I was happy to go home so that I can attend to the wedding in my neighborhood. Before I left home that morning to church the groom saw me going to church and asked me if I won't be in his wedding I told him I will come but he didn't seem to believe me because he saw as I was already on my way to church.

Thank God when I arrived home from church and I checked the reception center, it was just empty, just the MC (master of ceremony) and the decorators that was there still try to fix up the place, that was to say that the couple are still in the church.

I got home, change up from my choir dress, washed the dress and few of my other dirty clothes from the laundry basket.

One of my male neighbor that was among the groomsmen called me on phone to asked if I'm back from church so that I can come for the reception since I had already discussed with him that I will be joining the reception, so he was back from church, I asked him to give me few minutes to finish dressed up.

I was already done with my laundry and was about taking a shower before he called. I wanted to make food and eat, since I got eaten anything since day break but when he told me that they couple are already available to beatch in to their seat, I had to suspend the food, dressed up and moved.

I thank God the master of ceremony (MC) was very good at his work, he told us that he will only spend 30 minutes here and that everyone should comply with him so that we can all finish and go back home on time.

He processed the ceremony so well and fast, before we knew it the occasion was drawn to an end with a vote of thanks from the groom.

As I went back home, one of my colleagues was chatting with me, complaining of not seeing a salon to make her hair in her street and if she could come over to my place so that I help plait it for her, since I didn't have any plan of going out, though wanted to rest but I accepted and she came over to my place for the hair making.

That's the beginning and the finishing of the hair, don't mind that my neighbors child, the little boy likes me a lot and he transferred the love to any of my friends that comes around

When I was through with the hair, I made food for us to eat before I escorted her to the roadside to take a tricycle back home.

It was so fulfilling that I was able to carried out all the activities successfully even when I didn't have plans for some.
