Hello..!!
My Dear Friends,
I am @tanvirahammad10 from #Bangladesh 🇧🇩
This photo was taken during the fifth blood donation of my life. The day was about two months ago. I had just finished a class at college and was sitting in front of the Dividing Club, preparing for a regional debate competition we had there.
While I was sitting and preparing, a gentleman approached and asked if anyone among us had a positive blood group. I noticed the despair on his face—his eyes were filled with tears. I asked him who needed the blood, and in a trembling voice, he said that his mother was hospitalized and urgently needed one bag of blood.
Hearing this, a deep emotion stirred within me. A mother is the greatest treasure in the world, and here was a man wandering from door to door for his mother's life.
That day’s debate competition was very important for me. Yet, seeing his desperate plea, I asked when the blood was needed. The man informed me that his mother would undergo surgery very soon and the blood was required immediately. Without any hesitation, I told him, "Brother, I will go to donate blood."
At that moment, everyone participating in the debate competition stared at me. They began saying that today's debate was crucial.
But I ignored their words and said, "If Allah wills, I can participate in even bigger competitions in the future. But if something happens to his mother today, he can never get her back." Hearing this, the president of our debate club spoke up and said, "Alright brother, you should go."
He further encouraged me by saying that everyone should have such noble qualities. If people had this kind of humanitarian mindset, no one would ever die due to a lack of blood.
Then I started walking towards the hospital with the man. He repeatedly asked me to take a rickshaw, but seeing his financial condition, I kept insisting that it wasn’t necessary—I could walk. And so we walked together to the hospital.
Once there, after a quick blood test, I donated my blood. Afterward, I visited the man's mother. She was very elderly, and I affectionately called her "Grandmother." She raised her hand over my head and said, "Grandchild, may you achieve great things. I will never forget how you rushed selflessly to help an unknown person today."
I replied, "Please just pray for me from your heart. May Allah always be your helper."
Then I quietly left the hospital. As I was leaving, the gentleman tried to offer me a small gift. But I firmly declined. I thought accepting that small gift might tarnish the sincerity of my humanitarian act. I told him, "Please just pray for me so that I stay healthy."
This one photo of my blood donation tells a thousand stories. In real life, seeing a child's love and desperation for their mother, another child cannot stay silent. Neither could I. That’s why I set aside the debate competition and ran to stand by their side.
Through this story, I just want to say: please come forward with acts of kindness like this. Stand beside helpless people. Maybe your small help could protect someone's greatest treasure in life.
I am inviting my friends @nahidaislam @paholags @shantoislam to this competition

¡Saludos amigo!🤗

Fifth blood donation??? You must be a blood bank yourself. You actually saved the day I must say and I'm proud of you. But can I ask? Are you a Christian?
