Fairly Used or Brand New Items? Which would you rather go for?

Everyone have choices to make. It can be what type of food to eat, cloth to wear, television program to watch, kind of friends to keep etc

Sometimes too we need to choose the kind of equipment or accessories we use at home, whether they should be brand new or fairly used. This last point mentioned affects each one of us.

Today I am writing on the contest Fairly Used or Brand New Items? Which would you rather go for?.

The contest hints will be used to explore this topic more.

What do you understand by both terms (fairly used / Brand new product)

Both words are common in my country since it is dependent on imported goods. The word fairly used means a product or goods that have been used before.loosong its virginity status.

This product have acquired and used by a customer before he decides to sell it. It is not bought the way it was packed directly from the company it was produced.

It can also be defined as items that have been used before but are still in a good condition. These products are sold at a reduced price.

This kind of item can include cars, household electronic equipment and appliances, furnitures and many other things.

Brand New Product are products that have not been used before, delivered and packaged the way it is from the production company. These type of products are bought directly from the company, distributors and wholesalers. Items like cars, electronics, household equipment and appliances can be brought brand new.

So basically, these products are in there original state.

However the definition of brand new can also include coupled electronics done with brand new parts, like we can see in the case of a computer device, where the different computer parts are bought separately and rhen coupled to have one single device.

Have you ever found yourself struggling to make this decision, If so, What did you go for?

Yes, sometimes there is a serious need to make a decision on what to go for, brand new or fairly used. There are several factors that will be considered before making the decision. It could be what it is you want to buy, my financial strength, cost of the item and experiences acquired from previous use of the item under consideration.

At this particular time , I went for a fairly used product.

Why did you go for a fairly used or brand new item after careful considerations?

I went for a fairly used product. The equipment involved was an electronic pressing Iron. I took this decision because my experiences with buying brand new pressing irons was sour. I remembered buying Philips pressing Iron, deemed the best at that time, coming from a reputable company. Unfortunately it quickly got spoilt and could not be repaired.

After having this type of experience twice, i decided to go for fairly used. In my country, some products tagged new does not meet up with international standards. Thus buying those type of products fairy used gives you a better usage experience.

I have been using this electronic pressing Iron for over 10 years and still in a very good condition. You know what, i can decide to sell it as fairly used to, and a buyer will be waiting dor me😃😃😃😃.

Sometimes too, the cost of the item can be a reason too, lile when it comes to cars. Many people in my country cannot afford a brand new car due to how expensive it is. So the better option would be to go for a fairly used one.

Was there any regret for the choice you made?.

Why should there be? There are no regrets for the choice I made. The equipment have been serving me and still in good condition. Assuming that I want to acquire another one, I would still go for a foreign fairly used one. At least, I am convinced of the quality of the product.

There are somethings that I cannot buy the fairly used. Items like Television, refrigerators, and some other electronics. These ones I will buy from a dealer to take advantage of the warranty period for the product.
