The Diary Game || 29-03-25 || My Thrilling Experience at the Educational Visa Application & Services Event

On the 29th of March 2025, I had the amazing opportunity to attend an Educational Visa Application and Services event hosted by Expert Education Services — and let me tell you, it was nothing short of phenomenal. From the moment I walked into the venue, I knew it was going to be more than just your average seminar. It was fun, interactive, informative, and full of exciting moments that still linger in my memory.

The event brought together aspiring international students, education professionals, and representatives from renowned universities around the world, all under one roof. What made it truly special was how well-curated the sessions were. Everything was designed to ensure that attendees like myself left with actionable knowledge, fresh perspectives, and of course, a few goodies!

Inception

One of the first major sessions covered key considerations when choosing a school abroad. This was incredibly helpful as it opened my eyes to factors beyond just tuition fees and location — things like student support services, campus life, post-study work options, and scholarship availability. Speaking of scholarships, we had an eye-opening discussion on the various fully funded and partially funded scholarship programs currently available. Many of us left that session feeling hopeful and empowered, realizing just how many opportunities are within reach.

A standout highlight of the day was the one-on-one interaction sessions with international school representatives. I had the chance to speak directly with representatives from prestigious institutions like Queen’s College and University of Hertfordshire in the UK. It felt surreal to ask questions, get immediate responses, and even discuss possible pathways to gaining admission. These representatives shared invaluable insights and genuinely seemed invested in helping us achieve our academic dreams.

As if that wasn’t enough, there was a “Spin and Win” segment where attendees tried their luck and walked away with even more exciting prizes. Everyone was smiling, clapping, and thoroughly enjoying the experience. And yes — I almost forgot — the breakfast buffet! We were treated to a delicious spread of tea, small chops, and fresh fruits. It was the perfect refreshment to fuel our minds and bodies during the event.

In all, this event was a beautiful fusion of education, empowerment, and enjoyment. I left feeling more informed, deeply inspired, and ready to take on the next steps in my educational journey. The event took place at the luxurious Radisson Blu Hotel in Lagos, and the venue alone deserves a shout-out.
