Exploring opportunity to make more money while spending my Easter Holidays in the village. Life of an industrious woman.

As a dedicated teacher, I saw an opportunity to explore my entrepreneurial spirit as I traveled with my son, Princewill to spend the Easter holidays. Unlike many of my colleagues in the city of Uyo who relied solely on their teaching salaries, I have a passion for business and a knack for turning every venture into a profitable one.

Just these few weeks that I came to the village, I had built a reputation as a hardworking and innovative individual. My teaching profession is just one aspect of my multifaceted life. Two days ago, I had posted in my blog about my successful foray into palm oil processing and palm kernel sales, boasting an impressive 50,000 Naira profit! (Equivalent to 211.382 steem).

The response from our neighbours in the village is overwhelming, with many seeking advice on how to replicate my success, they didn't believe I, as a teacher will come from the city and be this industrious.

Undeterred by my recent triumph, I embarked on another venture - Garri processing. Yesterday, 23rd April 2025, I spent hours perfecting the recipe, experimenting with different flavours, and ensuring the quality of my product was unparalleled. The following day, I bought 2 bags of cassava from a local farmer, peeled and wash them before I took to where they used to grind and press to extract the water.

After the frying process, the sales were phenomenal, with people clamouring for more. By the end of the day, I had made a substantial profit and even keep some for consumption, far exceeding my expectations. I beamed with pride, knowing that my hard work and business acumen had paid off once again.

As I reflected on my Easter holiday exploits, I felt grateful for the opportunities I had seized. My teaching profession provides a sense of fulfillment, but it is my entrepreneurial ventures that brings me financial freedom and a sense of pride.
