Contest Alert: Bulk purchase and single purchase which one do you prefer.

Hello friends how are you all doing today, I will be taking part in a contest organize by @okere-blessing which is titled "Bulk purchase and single purchase which one do you prefer"

This contest reminds me of my mom, yep she is late and when she was alive she would prefer buying bulk purchase, I remember very well when they pay her salary she would go straight to the market and buy lot's of food stuff that will take us for a whole month.

Well below I will be making known between bulk purchase and single purchase the one amongst the two that I prefer the most.

• Single purchase

This is just the process of buying anything thing be it food stuff, house material, raw materials or anything that is useful to man in large quantity at a given time, in other words it involves the large purchase of goods at a given time

This is the process of buying goods or anything that is useful to us not in large quantity but as a single unit, it is the one some of us do from time to time which involves going to the store to buy a sachet of salt.

Well, trust me, the worst kind of purchase is a single purchase. Why? I will explain! Making a single purchase is normal, especially when you don't really have a demand for that particular thing at that time.

You may buy a single item for 500 naira (2.1 steem), but that same item can be sold at 400 naira (1.7 steem) when you buy in bulk. At the same time, you get to use it for a longer time, and in most cases, when the price of that particular product goes up again maybe to 600-700 naira it will not affect you because you have enough in stock.

So, between bulk purchase and single purchase, I think I would prefer bulk purchase, just like my mom, because it serves its purpose longer than a single purchase and saves lots of money in the long run.

At this point my advice on this varies depending on the type of product we are talking about, example when buying perishable goods I would advise that you go for single purchase so that it will not lead to lost of goods due to being spoiled.

But when it comes to buying goods like can items, sachet items (noodles, spices etc) oil, garri etc this one I would definitely advise that you buy them in bulk because it will serve it's purpose very well and longer.

Yeah bulk purchase is very much for the rich because buy items in bulk requires huge capital which sometimes may be difficult for an average person to be able to afford, buying 3 cups of garri is cheap but when it comes to buying maybe a full bag or half bag that will be expensive but if you do buy them it's much better than buying 500 naira garri everyday in terms of calculating the cost in a month.
