My Diary For The Week Ended - A task-filled activity.

Welcome to my blog as I present to you another interesting free writing content for the week. As the day proceeds, we continue to evolve gradually, given time and space. We begin to get busier at some point and sometimes, less busier. This greatly depends on our activities of the day and how best we've managed to handle them.

Being active has been a conscious effort to remain a blogger. It hasn't been really offline, hence the more time needed to execute the concerns that leaves us struggling with our blogging passion. To some, it may seem.l we are no longer want to intereact or we are busy for no juat course. But the fact remains, we are dealing with those concerns that have continued to keep us...

My week has been choked, given the arrays of activities before it, and it still has spilled over into the coming week. There are grave demands from the telecommunication regulator to harmonize the process that onboard a new subscriber into the network and broadband at large. This is given the spontaneous demands from the different agencies of government as insecurity remains a major challenge.

Firstly, was the timeline on the demand that sim acquisition outlets having sim registration kits should be geo-locked for traceable activities. This started with a pilot program of at least five (5) outlets from different state clusters to be monitored and mirrored for performance and adherence. Device kits in these outlets would be monitored strictly on compliance as a test model for full acceptability.

In carrying out this assignment, I had to visit key outlets to take an image of their coordinates. This was an important part of the assignment that allowed for the accurate use of coordinates to lock devices to their brick-and-mortar locations.

Secondly, the same regulator has demanded unified software that onboards new entries into the network. This suggests that we had to upgrade all existing devices to this advanced software that allows for real-time mirroring of all acquisition activities by the regulating body. Remember my point, this is coming with a stiff timeline.

The various difficulties faced during this task cannot be imagined. There are teething issues that came up from the partner's device given the different device models in the trade for activation. While some cam.e with relatively simple migration and onboarding to the software, others required various technical maneuvers to deal with this task. This whole process has come with time-consuming, energy-draining, and data exhaustion.

Funny enough, this has nothing to do with the monthly target achievement and performance tracker. Notwithstanding, the above narrated has been a huge distraction for everyone as this directly impacts our activities if we do not meet the stipulated migration deadlines. This means those device kits that help us onboard new acquisitions would be blacklisted, hence leaving us with another tall order to get them whitelisted.

However, I was able to initiate some activation activities to help shore up my target performance for the month under review despite the enormous task at hand. Some few activators were assembled, and taken to a location with an outlet in view where potential subscribers were attended to. A mini sound system was also deployed to enhance our awareness in the locality.

It has been a long week for me, but believing this tension will reduce as the day goes by.
