Our community purpose

The purpose of the Steem Kids and Parents community is to provide a space here in Steemit where kids and parents can connect and interact with each other to form uniting bonds that will keep them together as they build their future together. It also provides an enabling environment for healthy learning for the kids as well as the parents. This community has maintained its purpose throughout the month under consideration through our activities. We have not deviated from it.

This month of April, the community account has continued in its growth. Currently, our steem power is 52,725.89 owned sp and a total of 61,809.31 SP effective sp that includes the 9,083.42 delegation from our generous members.

Apart from the delegated steempower, we also have an active curation trail which enables our vote value at 100% upvote and when the account is fully recharged to give +$1.

For April, we tried our best to use these available resources to support both the admins, the moderators, and all members at large. This has kept us going to date and we promise to keep building on what we already have with the support we are receiving.

Our community stats

The total number of subscribers is 8,104 and are 140 active as of date. Throughout April, we never went below 100 active users. And this is amazing because we are always trying our best to keep these users active with activities.

The mods actively check all publications and review them daily. They take turns to do so despite low support.

Our Weekly booming reports for the month

We are glad to announce that our booming support has been restored since 23 days ago and that is on the 8th of April. All thanks to the Steemit team for kindly restoring it to us and to the team members of this community that have been very active. This booming support has accounted to the influx of members and we are happy to support them as much as we can.

Our contests that help us to keep the members busy

Contests are our little secret that helps us keep the members active and the community booming with active users and publications. It takes great effort to organize these contests. Thanks to the admin and moderators.

At any point in time, about 6 contests are active in the community and are pinned for members to quickly see them and participate. The community alone runa 3 contests each week of the month. The Admin and moderators run theirs, this contributing to the success of the community.

Apart from the contests, we also post the daily booming support for each day. This means that we make a daily post to announce the users that we select for each day to encourage them to do more.

Our plans for the current month

For April ,we plan to

Keep the users active with our activities like never before., we will keep doing our best to retain our active users, at least, not to fall below 100.
We plan to keep building our steempower through our activeness and powerups.

This community has continuity in mind and as such, we will present our May report in this community.

We will keep supporting members with the booming selection. Our strategy is that each member will receive just one booming in a week no matter if it's admin or not. Only the community account receives 2 each week. This way, we are able to distribute the booming support to more users.

Conclusion

We are grateful for this opportunity to present our report here. We hope that we have done Justice to it and pray for continuous opportunity and improvement in areas we aren't doing well.
