Teamwork vs. Individual Work (Which is better?)

There is no one who doesn’t like to receive help when he or she is doing something. Everyone loves to be helped and that’s where the concept of teamwork comes in and this contest is organized by @shiftitamanna.
Also, there are days when we feel we do not need or want to be helped by anyone because we can do it all by ourselves. I’m in that mood today and yes, I’ve achieved so many things today already.

I prefer individual work. There is no doubt that things get faster and more achievable when it comes to teamwork and two heads are better than one but for me, I prefer individual work.
I am someone who is not used to asking people for help and I have always done and achieve things all by myself.

If I do things on my own, it gives me the liberty to think and strategize well. Also, I am a goal oriented person so no matter or under any circumstance, I always want to make sure that I achieved the reason why I started that particular thing.

I prefer it over teamwork because there are times when you may have a crazy partner or co-workers. No matter how positive we are, there will be one particular person who doesn’t take things seriously and that person is likely to ruin the whole plan so it is always better when I do my things by myself.

Teamwork

Teamwork can be defined as a way in which a group of people work together to achieve a common goal. The essence of working together is to achieve a goal and this is why it is good to always have goal oriented group members to make this happen.

Individual work

Individual work can also be referred to as single work. Here, the work is done by just one person with the aim of achieving a goal. Individual work can be anything that a single person will be able to achieve and sometimes, we feel someone may not be able to achieve something but we are going to be shocked when the person does it.

Teamwork of course but that’s when you have the right team. Let me give an example. If the school gives a job to an assistant teacher to mark the whole examination scripts, record and also paste them, this may take a whole week or even more than and it depends on how fast the teacher is.

Now, imagine that the job was shared amongst teachers, it makes it easy and faster. There is one thing about teamwork that group members motivate other group members. Now, this may take a day if one of the teachers is fast and it may turn to a competition between all of them and it will make work faster.
That’s the essence of teamwork. It is more progressive than individual work.

Teamwork is better because the goal is more likely to be achieved. With teamwork, everyone in the group will be able to think because no one is worked out and everyone will be able to chip in more ideas.
