Diary game 15th April 2025|| What is the price for excellence???

And so the day begins. Our first national miracles today conference has come and gone. It's been a blurry of activities for a stretch of days, but it was worth every cent paid.
Of course as a media member, I wasn't able to soak in everything physically because I was always on the go, making sure everything went fine, but hey, there would be the edit sessions where I would have an alone time to soak in.
Here we are. My day begins with edits, screen time and laptops. We've been camped here in and out for the past 3 days and it's been a slow but steady and consistent output. My team and I are tired by the stress bags under our eyes but our motto is "rest when you're done, not when you're tired, so we pushed regardless.

It's 10:40am and I can see from the silent lodge language of my team mates that they are hungry. One thing you should never do is allow anyone working for and with you get hungry. Once they're hungry, they become grumpy. Once I noticed this, I shut down work and suggested we all go look for breakfast to which everyone readily agreed😂, even the person feigning sleep got up immediately. We shut down out work space and got into the street . The search for food has begun.

On our way, I saw that a new fuel station was being built close to church. It's been 4 years we moved in here and there has been only one fuel station feeding the entire length of the long road. Upon seeing this , my compadres began to argue heatedly about how the new station would compliment business. It was a first I was hearing this.
The workers all looked busy and I couldn't help but take a few shots though they were quite suspicious of my actions, who would blame them???, the watchword now is security consciousness.

We finally found a place and I opted for white rice, stew and plantain. I had eaten soup the night before at another restaurant and it was at the verge of being spoilt. it gave me a runny stomach early this morning. I didn't remember to take a picture of my food until it was remaining just 1 meat, the moral lesson being that things start small, don't be in a hurry.
