I don't know if it is more important to have so many technological tools or only one tool that works 100 percent.

I have a mobile phone, but it was damaged once and was in the hands of a technician. Supposedly, he fixed it two months ago, but now I notice that it has other difficulties.
I like my phone for photography, conversation, and connecting with friends. They may be far away or they may be close but WhatsApp now allows us to talk to each other even if we are in neighboring rooms. Although I like to connect with the rest of my friends in the world as if I had them as neighbors here.

For my work, I need my cpu, because there I have stored all the material I need to prepare my medical reports. I can also have a broader view of ultrasound images of texts already studied by colleagues who have seen the same pathologies that I may be seeing for the first time in a patient. In other words, my computer helps me to have multiple windows open to do my research and compare images with other colleagues.

My cell phone is so bad now that I can't have or keep multiple options open because it crashes and freezes the whole screen. It's a real nightmare. It is only useful for small activities.

I also know that for many people their laptop is their greatest ally, perhaps because they know more technology than I can master and I can not understand many functions on my phone. I am also not very curious about my phone because when I touch keys with which I do not know their function, I have generally caused alterations in it, so much so that I have had to ask for help from the most knowledgeable people.

In the end, I guess me and technology don't get along very well.

I believe it is good to have work and private separated. Same for the keychain. Never keep all the keys at the same chain.

I never hit a wrong button and like you I am not curious to find out how everything a phone comes with works next to my averse of Big brothers snooping around. I did switch off and removed certain applications and stupid things like covid alarms if an affected person is in my surrounding. I can't take these "services" seriously besides I have better things to do than let a phone rule my life.

BTW, By the time a device is about to die I discover a certain feature. If not needed why bother? 🤣

I spoke with a friend who is a technician and knowledgeable about certain computer problems. He is coming this afternoon. I hope he can find out what the problem is with my CPU. Although he had already forwarded me the comment answer about what I told him about my CPU problem with my phone, it was kind of strange.

I am going to set my mind and resources to try to save and buy a new phone for this year.

The problem is that they are obsolete. The technology is already very advanced and I'm way behind.

My friend the technician came to check, told me I had a visible impediment and that he would insert a key to make it unlock. He did, I can now download some pictures but it's still a bit tricky.

He has recommended that I buy another Cpu when I can, and of more advanced technology, because mine next year will be phased out by new technology.

My phone is still good for me but I have decided that by the middle of this year when I leave other more important commitments I should be buying 2 new mobile phones. For my son and for me.

اگر کبھی موبائل میں کوئی خرابی ا جائے تو اس کو ٹیکنیشن کے پاس لے جانے سے پہلے اگر اپ اس کو فیکٹری ریسیٹ کر لیں تو بہت حد تک اس کی خرابی پر قابو پایا جا سکتا ہے۔ کیونکہ اگر ایک دفعہ اگر اپ اپنا موبائل کسی اور کے حوالے کر دیں اور وہ اس کو کھول کے صحیح کرے تو اس میں صحیح ہونے کے بجائے خرابیاں زیادہ ا جاتی ہیں جیسے اپ بھگت رہی ہیں۔

The problem was not my cell phone but my CPU, but my friend came home and fixed the problem for the time being. He also told me to buy another more upgraded cpu. Because the problem with my cpu is that it is very obsolete technologically.

Kalau kita bahas antara Ponsel dan Komputer mana yang di butuhkan, atau mana yang penting, itu tergantung kemana kita gunakan dan dimana kita gunakan, artinya letak ruang lingkup kegunaannya masing-masing.

Bila berada di dunia kerja saya akan membutuhkan keduanya, kenapa demikian!!! karena sama-sama berkaitan akan kebutuhannya.

Komputer / Laptop ini di butuhkan untuk membuat segala macam surat yang berkenaan dengan kedinasan pendidikan dan sekolah, serta menginstal aplikasi sekolah yang tidak bisa digunakan pada ponsel.

Ponsel ini saya gunakan sebagai sarana komunikasi dunia kerja dan keperluan pribadi.

Antara ponsel dan komputer ini memang ada kelebihan dan kekurangan masing-masing, serta mempunyai juga kesamaannya. Maka dari itu saya membutuhkan keduanya.

Saya tidak menggunakan komputer berupa PC tetapi berbentuk Laptop. Saat saya membutuhkan laptop dan butuh jaringan wifi, saya akan menyambungkan ponsel dengan cara menghidupkan hotspot.

Saya juga sering menyambungkan sosial media denga laptop dan juga menggunakan di ponsel.

Saya sangat membutuhkan akan keduanya.

If you can only have one, what would it be?
I find it hard to say you really need both. I had both and yes, I did use both but as my laptop broke ( I had a small one and a big one and both broke after another) I only had a phone left. By now I am used to my phone and I believe I am faster with and learned to work with sheet (word, excel everything) at times I do need tricks and I might be slower but it's possible.
If it comes to it the phone is better for me. I know I think differently when I lay down if it comes to writing than when I sit.

Memang ponsel itu menjadi suatu gaya yang mewah apalagi dengan merek yang sedang jadi incaran semua kalangan. Ponsel saya masih ponsel yang lama, karena hanya ini yang ada, saya memakainya sesuai kebutuhan selama belum rusak.

Kalau ponsel ini bukan suatu yang mewah lagi, sudah ketinggalan jaman.

My phone is old as well and I still have the first one I used as I started with steemit but it can no longer load the site and only works for calling and Telegram. The one I use now is also old and getting slow but as long as it does its job there's no reason to buy something else. I consider that a waste of money.

I go with phone. Back then phone was limited to certain features which makes it not as speed as people need to perform urgent work which makes them go for computers even when they were very costly just to have they speed and features they need. Nowadays phone got almost the same features as computer, fast and easy to carry alone. With phone you can type, design, browser and watch shows right in your comfort zone. Phone is easy to carry around with less stress. Nowadays people prefer to work with their phones than with computers. Everywhere now including the computer enter attach phone to their work, most files are collected from the phone to the computer.

I can still remember when my sis got her computer for the first time. We were so obsessed with it and it became our new television. Haha

Few years ago I was asked to choose between phone and a computer. It was a bad choice to make, fist I had to compare phone with computer and at my present stage at the moment, which of them do I really need at the moment. After a long comparison and thinking I went with phone, why did I go with phone?
First, it was my first time to owe a personal phone after my secondary school. Why would I go with a computer. When I won’t be able to go out with it and won’t be able to make calls at my comfort zone. Besides with phone I can type, design and browser and it’s portable too unlike computer.
I was very use to phone than computer.
And I still choose phone over computer.

I assume you use your phone for Steemit like I do. Does it limit you if it comes to writing?
I remember how we had to wait till it was our turn to use the pc for 30-60 minutes to game or do something. The luxury of the own phone number + pocket pc I like more.

Also a computer + all those wires.. No longer that mess. 😁

I used my phone for steemit and I so much enjoy using it. The last time I used computer it was so confusing that I told myself I won’t use it again. Hahaha

According to today's need, everyone has a mobile phone and surely it is a useful thing. When we want, as we want, whenever we want to do whatever we want, we do all our work through mobile. Whether it is related to office work, student assignments etc, or urgent contact with someone, all our work is done instantly through mobile. Apart from this, we can watch any drama or Pakistani or Indian movies. The most important thing is to take selfies 😂, in weddings or in various events, our good memories are captured through mobile phones and whenever we feel bored, we can also do our favorite activities like playing games etc.
I have told you so many benefits that I have told about myself that I get countless benefits from this mobile phone. Now I will talk about the damage that is happening to me for some days due to the unnecessary use of the mobile phone. Maybe you are a victim of it too. My eyes are starting to hurt and I feel like it is affecting my eyes in a negative way.

Unlike mobile phone, my experience on computer has been very good. I had a computer with a monitor. And the biggest advantage of this was that all the family members used to spend good time together because we used to watch wedding movies, pictures etc, together. And used to relive old memories. And it was my best time. Now everyone has a mobile phone, so the value of a computer has completely decreased.
If I get an option between computer or mobile, I will choose mobile even with so much loss because one important thing is that it is the companion of our loneliness.

With us the computer never was a moment with the family. It was about using it alone without anyone looking over your shoulder. Together we watched TV.

Phones?
We all had the smartphone late. To me it's my computer to the others for school or in case of need. None of us calls or is on social media FB, Instagram and so on.
Two of my children use a computer (one is animator and the other tries to repair, build new ones out of retro pc's next to universityband a job).

I agree with you life has changed due to the mobile phones, pcs and now smartphones. It's actually the personal robot and to many the friend and a way out of reality.

Exactly what you said earlier TV used to be a family activity but now everyone is busy in their digital world. The convenience and benefits of mobile phones and computers, laptops etc, are many and its use has also made a person independent.

It's good for your kids to use it constructively and it's even better if they don't just use it to pass the time but use it to learn and create something. And credit goes to you. How are you all steem users. Well the question is Do you have a smart phone or laptop?
Now a days every person have smartphone even he/she is rich or poor. Smartphone is a necessary thing . So everyone kept . And having laptop depends on nature of work. Students and some kind of job worker required laptop more than smartphones.
Well I have both of them . Smartphone for contact to friends , family and entertainment. Iaptop used for my official office work as well as for online work. I am thinking to upgrade my laptop for smooth working. There was a time when desktop computer was a precious think before smartphones and laptops. I was having pantium III computer with monitor. And hay time I was thinking that I am having the greatest gadget of era. But passage of time things change . Everyday we learn about new technologies. I think after 10,20 years we will not need laptop anymore, everything will be possible on smartphone .

I will choose mobile. Although I have a personal laptop, I find mobile more convenient. I can use my mobile anytime, anywhere. It helps me especially when I am outside or need to do something quickly. With my mobile, I can easily manage Steemit, social media, writing, photography, and other daily tasks. When I use my laptop i have to sit in a specific place. But with my mobile i can work from anywhere, lying in bed or outside. That’s why mobile is the best choice for me.

Is that true? I am not sure if you will read the others so I will leave you this video as well.

All you have to do is attach a screen (can even be a TV) if you like to see it bigger and buy a keyboard and adapter which for sure is way cheaper than a computer or laptop.

During the past years I learned to work with my phone and although it's getting slower after all those years I am still faster with my phone than I am with a computer. The only exception is if I type but plusses of my phone are that I can save 20 templates in the clipboard next to many others. It makes it easier to work with. The laptop/pc only remembers one and frequently I can't even find it back (or it says copied but there's nothing.

Neither was I. I just watched a video where a laptop can be made from a broken phone but it doesn't look easy plus the material will cost as well. My son said it's easier to invest in a keyboard.

I go for the mobile as well. I rarely call and it's my computer. I am only faster if it comes to typing texts only.
All the apps make it easier as well to work with a phone where Microsoft is always in the way blocking everything and making difficult what can be easy.
Another minus is that banking is online with us, same for the government and many shops, this means online paying is frequently required for which I need my phone. If using a phone it goes automatically (notification + confirm) while payment doesn't work with it if using a computer directly so a phone is needed to attach and confirm which not always work.
i also noticed that the phone works with a slower internet connection whereas laptops and computers are having difficulties.

But it has an interesting story. Hope you also like it. When I start school there was not smart phone . When I start college mobile phone were very famous all over the world and smart phone just started with really high price at that time.
My wish was to get a simple smart phone but my pocket money does not allow it . And family can't support due to some crisis. When I went university there was my wish to get a laptop with smart phone . But got nothing. At the end of education got a temporary job so after first pay I got a simple mobile and was very happy. Time passes I got smart phone too because now they are cheeper . But my wish to buy laptop still pending in some corner of the heart. I can buy a laptop now but I prefer money to spend on my children study and their need . Can't spend on my wishes... I wish I can give all things to my children that I can't get.

My first "smartphone was the Samsung Duos and I mainly used it because of the 2 sim slots. I never figured out how it could have access to the internet which it should have or could.
I used it for many years since I rarely call and nothing has changed since back then.

The first mobile phone was a Motorolla it was big but easier than a "pager".

No phone numbers or messages were shown only numbers. It worked great we had a list with codes (from what groceries were needed to HELP and come home or I am late or Call). I had a great blue one.

The more modern smartphone I started with late. I never felt any need to have one since I had a small HP laptop which I could carry along in a small backpack and most important the battery lasted very long.
After my laptop broke I started using my phone for a computer and by now I can do what I want or need (and if not I let it be).

I remember there was a time the government pushed everyone into a mobile phone. It was even given for free in the package of washing detergent. That's when it started with being forced always to answer your phone (which I don't and I also leave it at home if I don't need it).

Is it important to give your children everything that you missed? Can they tell the difference if they are always provided with everything?
I tried and did partly the same but looking back I believe that it wouldn't have made any difference since whatever children want and are given they take for granted. I did not always give in and made clear how many hours of work it costs to buy something. That's where pocket money comes in and they started calculating from a young age. I do notice that two do tend to buy more easily even though there are bills to pay which are more important.
Since no one of us has a loan or is in debt with third parties at least this is positive.
Once a family member said that if he ever had children he would give them nothing except for a picture of that item and would put the money it would cost on a bank account. Back then I found that weird but by now I wonder how much money I wasted in buying so many items, toys, and trash that never lasted a lifetime and many not even one year.

I agree playing with toys, simple things like water, boats made out of walnuts or paper, marbles, crayons on the street and hide and seek.. today hardly no child plays outside. We only see teenage boys hanging around being bored.

Computer or phone? I'm probably from that category of dinosaurs whose fingers still haven't learned to accurately hit the right letters on the phone's keyboard. Yes, the phone is always at hand and I'm having fun with my laptop... My PC (whether it's a work or home laptop) is my entrance to my creativity and relaxation zone. Probably since childhood, the PC has been the portal for me through which I escaped from reality into many fictional worlds. Therefore, for me, the PC is like a little idol that I always choose compared to the phone...

Yes I have smart phone , but don't have computer. Nowadays use of computer is very limited. Most of the people have jump to smart phone. Some of your task could be done through smart phone. So people prefer smart phones instead of computer. Even I am commenting now from my smart phone. Every application can download from this phone. Even excel ,word file can be install on smart phone.

Like you I prefer a phone. No longer a desktop which takes a lot of space and the mess of all the cables. Another plus is I can take it with me and also work from my bed. LOL
No, I am not kidding it's how I started on Steemit as I was ill. I also think better if I lay down.
The only minus might be that typing on a computer is faster.

Yeah dear it is difficult to type long paragraphs on smart phone as compared to keyboard. Sometime we need desktop view and for that we need to convert from mobile view to desktop view. Other than that phone have more plus points.

Saya hanya memiliki ponsel saja, sedangkan komputer atau laptop sama sekali tidak punya, dan saat ini saya lebih nyaman menggunakan ponsel karena praktis dibawa kemana saja.

Saya sudah terbiasa bekerja dengan telepon selama lebih dari 12 tahun dan saya baik-baik saja dengan itu. Hal yang bagus adalah saya dapat menggunakan telepon di tempat tidur dan menaruhnya di dekat (atau di bawah selimut jika cuaca dingin). Terkadang saya pikir komputer akan sangat membantu dan anak saya bertanya apakah saya tidak menginginkannya (saya berpikir untuk mencoba yang lebih kecil dari AliExpress tetapi untuk saat ini saya tidak yakin itu akan bermanfaat bagi saya. Kita semua menggunakan ponsel kita dalam jangka waktu lama sekitar 8 tahun meskipun harganya selalu murah tetapi berfungsi dengan baik.
Saya tidak yakin apakah guru menggunakan komputer. Saya tidak pernah melihat mereka di sekolah bersama kami. Mereka tidak membutuhkannya untuk mengajar dan memiliki aplikasi atau kelas google yang mereka gunakan. Sisanya adalah pekerjaan yang dilakukan oleh administrasi sekolah dan mereka biasanya memiliki komputer.

I am used to working with a phone for over 12 years and I am fine with it. Only typing goes faster if I use a computer although I rarely notice it because it takes way longer to add photos and set the markdowns because all photos are taken with my phone. I also noticed that a phone easier finds the internet connections whereas the computer says there isn't any if the connection is slow.
Also good is that I can use the phone in my bed plus keep it close (or underneath the blanket if it's cold).
Sometimes I think a computer would be a big help and my son asked if I don't want one (I thought about trying a smaller one from AliExpress but for now I don't believe it will benefit me. All the old broken laptops are still around. Perhaps my son can fix them one day? If not I will buy a new phone one day (hopefully this one will last for one more year).
We all do long with our phones around 8 years although these are always cheap ones but they do their job.
I am not sure if teachers use a computer. I never see them at the schools with us. They don't need it to teach and have an app or google classroom which they use. The rest is work done by the administration of the school and they usually have a computer

Itu sangat lama sekali teman, saya belum satu tahun menulis di platform steemit ini, rasanya mata saya semakin kabur saja , kalau dulu saya hanya memakai handphone untuk alat komunikasi saja dan menonton berita itu pun hanya sebentar saja.

Tapi kalau sekarang beda karena saya fokus membaca serta menulis jadi waktu yang saya gunakan untuk menatap layar handphone agak lama.

Di sekolah saya Semua guru mempunyai laptop untuk memudahkannya mengerjakan tugas , membuat laporan atau membuat RPP yang harus mereka buat untuk bahan mengajar, dan masih banyak lagi yang saya tidak tahu apa yang mereka buat di laptop mereka.

Bagian administrasi juga sudah tersedia komputer untuk alat kerja mereka, beda dengan saya yang hanya memegang sapu setiap harinya 🥺, jadi sekarang saya punya kegiatan menulis dan itu membuat saya bahagia apalagi bisa berhubungan dengan banyak teman baru di disini.

Dengan handphone saya ini saya melakukan pekerjaan yang lebih bermanfaat daripada duduk menatap layar ponsel dan menghabiskan paket data saya dan tidak ada faedahnya sama sekali. Sekarang handphone saya lebih berguna dan bisa menghasilkan juga.

Yeah kita sama, untuk berselancar di internet internet, membuka bursa crypto, membuat blog, mengedit photo dan bahkan bermain game (PES) saya melakukan via phone, menurut saya melakukan aktivitas via phone lebih fleksibel jika di bandingkan dengan komputer atau laptop yang membutuhkan banyak ruang, namun tetap saja ada beberapa pekerjaan yang harus di lakukan via komputer seperti menganalisis data via spss dan lainnya, namun jika hanya untuk melakukan aktivitas seperti yang telah saya sebutkan di atas, bagi saya lebih mudah dan nyaman untuk di lakukan via phone.

Hal yang bagus adalah saya dapat menggunakan telepon di tempat tidur dan menaruhnya di dekat (atau di bawah selimut jika cuaca dingin).

Hello. Thanks, @sergeyk, for the invitation! I actively use my smartphone and write my posts through my phone as well. It’s always at hand, and I can use it every free minute.

I’m so used to it that if my smartphone isn’t nearby—like when it’s charging—I feel uncomfortable. 🤣🤣🤣😅😅😅 It feels like something is missing, something as important as a second hand. :-)))

I only use a computer when I want to watch a movie since smartphone screens aren’t designed for that. In everything else, my phone does a great job—it replaces a camera, a music player, and is an indispensable part of my life.

Welcome. I use am used to my smartphone as well from the moment I started with Steemit. Somehow it feels easier to post, also because I have photos at hand I can lock what I mostly need in the clipboard.

Staying close to the socket is indeed a pain. I charge at night or early in the morning if I go outside with the dogs and I don't need it.
I guess you are missing something. If you hold that phone too much it shows (look at the position of your hand). LOL

I watch films on my phone as well and if it's cold I pull the blanket over my head and it can hold the phone for me. I also watch in the Flixbus of the plane. Good for killing time.

Do you switch it off at night? It does affect your brain and changes you. I watched an info video about that yesterday.

I always switch everything off. If I sleep I sleep.

And that’s a bad thing, at least because I wake up to air raid alerts (I’m from Ukraine, and we have a war). But I also often wake up in the middle of the night or very early in the morning, and looking at my phone helps me decide whether to get up or not, depending on the time.

Sometimes, I wake up at 3 AM, check Steemit, read new notifications, and then go back to sleep. 🤣 That’s why it sometimes seems to others that I never sleep.

Hello dear friends. It's been awhile here. Trusting God we are all doing good?

I've got both mobile phone and a personal laptop. But I think for convenience sake, I will prefer a phone to a laptop even though there are few limitations when using phone to do certain stuffs.

My first phone then was Bird it was a simple and easy to navigate phone. The next phone I used after the was something else. I laugh so hard each time I remember that phone. I wouldn't want to mention the name here. Lol. But that phone was damn heavy to carry that one can used it to gym.

My first laptop was a Dell laptop. I bought it when I was in my second year at the university. I lost the laptop to theft. My room was burgled and my precious items carted away including this very laptop I so much cherished. That incidence really destabilized me then. But I thank God I was able to fight through.

Today, I've got a smart phone that's very light and portable and not as heavy as the weight in the gym. Also I've another a laptop that's more advanced than the previous one that was stolen.

Despite having both a phone and a laptop, I still prefer my phone to laptop cos of convenience. I don't like carrying weights. Lol.

I have both mobile phone and a laptop but I will prefer mobile over computer/laptop because, now a days, the mobile phones are mini computers as all the essential softwares are available in them. In the past few years, the people were facing issues regarding the ram and memory of mobile phones but now that issues have been resolved as in the market, the mobile phones with huge storage and ram are present to run the softwares of different types.

In addition, if you have a mobile phone in hand, you are carrying many things in that time, like the camera to capture photos and record videos, a storage bank as mobile phones has a storage memory in GBs and TBs, and all the amount of cash present in your bank accounts as in mobile phone, we can run the banking apps to transfer our funds and money anytime anywhere. In that ways, we can say that the mobile phones has made our lives easier and more convenient.

But we can deny the role of computers in our lives as to do the office work and to store a larger amount of data we need to have a computer or laptop. Also, some applications are limited to computers only as they can't run on mobile phones so in conclusion, both are very integral part of our lives but it depends on us how we want to use them.

I also have a mobile phone and a laptop. I bought a new laptop about 5 years ago because I needed it for my IT course. But even after I bought it, I didn't want to use it anymore. Because I always use my mobile phone. Using a mobile phone is more convenient for me than using a laptop. I even use my mobile phone to post articles on steemit. It allows me to handle it the way I want. All the best for contest.

As I mentioned above, I have both a laptop and a mobile phone. But I rarely use the laptop. I use the mobile phone.

Even though I use my mobile phone a lot, I don't have any health issues. But if I play games on my mobile phone, I get a headache at that time. I only get a headache when I play games for about an hour. But the headache goes away when I stop playing games. So I'm not going to play games on my mobile phone.

The previous day, when my grandmother went to the eye clinic to get her eyes checked, she came home and told us that there were several children with eye problems there. She also said that the doctor there had said that some of the children there had developed eye problems due to unnecessary use of mobile phones. The doctor also had been scolded the parents a lot for giving mobile phones to their children.

So, it appears that many children today are suffering from various eye diseases due to the use of mobile phones and computers, and that parents who give them mobile phones at a children are responsible for this.

In fact, the laws in our country, which is an Asian country, regarding the use of tablets and mobile phones by school children are different from the laws in Europe countries. In our schools, 8 hours of teaching time is used to cover the syllabus and various practical activities.

Also, parents cannot always be blamed for children turning to mobile phones. What I mentioned above is the case of some parents giving their children mobile phones because they need to do their daily work.

Yes, I think so in case of time, so it depends on the people how they use mobile phone i.e for time wasting or for doing other useful tasks. Usually we lost our data when we lose our mobile phone but the important data like passwords pics etc can be saved in google drive or in other wallets.

El telefeno y la computadora, hoy en día son herramientas que solucionan muchas cosas, creo no no podría elegir a una, cada cual tiene sus ventajas y desventajas...

El teléfono es portátil funcional en todo los aspectos, pero cuando tenemos visión de vejez .. las cosas pequeñas en los telendos no funcionan ... en cambio con la compu depende de la pantalla .. es cuestión de gustos.

De los teléfonos amo las cámaras que podemos tomar fotos en cualquier lugar captar esos detalles del día o la noche... en cambio con la computadora la cámaras son limitadas ... jejeje a menos que sea una tableta o lapto.. pero igualmente no es funcional.

En fin.. uso las dos, pero me siento más cómoda haciendo transacciones bancarias desde la pc .. viendo peli y vídeos, publicando, editando y haciendo trabajos....el telf para las llamadas y mensajes...

La galería del teléfono siempre está ful de las fotos de mi perrito Zeus pero cuando me quedo sin espacio la pc se llena.

No propria estar sin ninguna de ellas... jejeje

What will you do if the pc crashes or is at it's end? You could store photos precious to you like those of Zeus on usb, an extern harddisk or sd-card.

Online banking just like many governmental issues we are forced to handle by phone because they all have apps and it doesn't work without. I wonder if a second phone isn't wiser because of this fact. I don't like to use one phone for everything.

Hola me sorprendió eso de las 25 palabras, así que tratare de ser muy preciso, aunque no es fácil, pero así está en las reglas.

Pues teléfono móvil o es lo mismo celular, por ser mas practico es como una mini computadora, la única diferencia es que podemos tomar fotos mas fácil y rápido que con la computadora, ya que esta no la podríamos llevar donde quiera y sacarla a cada rato para tomar fotos. Mientras que con el celular si.

Además de que nos brinda mas comodidad, porque lo podemos tener, llevarlo donde quiera, hasta de verlo acostado.

Como todo lo demás que nos ofrece siempre y cuando tenga internet, que es lo que le da mas vida a un móvil, porque un móvil sin acceso a un internet wifi, no seria de mucha utilidad, para las demás funciones que podemos realizar con el, solo seria para llamar, recibir llamadas, escribir mensajes y tomar las fotos.**

Phone or computer?

I prefer to choose phone since is portable, simple, and easy to use technology. With phone I can browse anyway, carry it anyway I go while computer is not same, I know one might say computer is durable and some will day there are small portable computer too but I don't fancy it at all.

I remember my husband was always obsessed with his computer, he can stay with his laptop from morning to night and you will always find him with his laptop in a big bag carrying up and down the road as if he is carrying the world with him all around.
To me it was a problem because I can't carry mine around.

Thank God for smartphone, when I was opportune to have one I was so excited, I can do anything, everything at anytime, anywhere without fear of any kinds.
I love my smartphone and I prefer it over any computer no matter how small it is.

You made me laugh with that comment. It was so hot to have a laptop and cinvenient, no cables, it didn't need a desk but those first where heavy.
The smartphone is a computer and with it you carry more options around than you could with the desk top. The battery of a phone lasts longer than the one of a laptop. What I also like is more privacy. I don't like it if others can read on a big screen who emails me and what my bankacciunt looks like.
Negative of the mobile phone I find being traced everywhere and it infects the brain/health. Next to that the users if they make phone calls everywhere on speakers.
The lack of privacy I find disturbing and alarming.

Phone or computer? Which one do I have? Am a mobile phone user and I want to talk about phone. You know, since I don't have the opportunity to use laptop, am so much familiar with mobile phone. I see that some people do very well in typing in laptop than Mobile phone, @wakeupkitty do you? I saw it in your comments. For me both have their own functions. For example you can use laptop to different uses and it has a wide surface, large storage capacity and ability to use or operate different at a time.

To me using laptop is like using a button phone. I might found it difficult when typing as I will be looking for different alphabet unlike phone keyboard whereby I can guess where it it even without looking at it. You know....... The thing is.... People Using laptop are familiar with it while we mobile user are also enjoying our Mobile phone. We're laying out bed the way we can lie on it.

Hey, am not dragging anyone or condemning laptop oo...... Infact by God's grace if I have the opportunity, I would get one for myself.

Large storage? My phone has a sdcard and has more storage than my laptop ever had. Also phone have apps whoch are easier to run than the same on computers.

I do tend to believe phones are worse for one's health plus the hand holding it will get cramps. 🤐

My Phone

I dont know how to use pc or laptop and I am using smartphone only. My first phone was given to me by my employer. It was not new and already been used. Ot was an old Ericson. Then, it broken . They gave me Samsung , the small one. Then , when the second son of my boss graduated a and had his first salary, he bought me a new Samsung Android phone. It was the time I started steemit December 2017. It was stolen last 2019 New years day. The first son ofy boss bought me HUAWEI phone after it lost. I used it until 2022 and expired. They gave me another Huawei before I spent vacation last 2022. I used it now here in Saudi Arabia, it has no Google Play. We need to pay first before we van.access google and playstore and everything. But I still using it now . Then, they bought again this one Infinix.

They provided me smart phone because they knew I earned from this through blogging. They support me in returned that I worked for them with honesty.

The first three phone were not new. One was stolen during New years day. HUAWEI have 128gb but no built in google. The last one is the cheapest one but it worked . Phones are my friend. They helped my feelings subside.

New or not we do over 8 years with a phone and the onky reason we had to replace it is because android is no longer suppirted and the phone gets slow till if refuses access to the internet. Most of the google functions I sut off.. Uf you need certain apps there are other ways.
Telegram for example has its iwn site and there are many more. Also sites where you find substitute apps working as good or better or the same just no google interferences. With us phones are cleaned from google but if you buy them they cost a fortune and are used.

Samsung has its own browser and apps

Btw, it was the first time I read that one can pay to have access to google.

I use a mini SD to store what I want to save.

Am Using a Huawei too, but mine is not showing image when I access steemit. But in other site you can view image as you like. I don't know whether it's the Chrome browser because if I use the Phoenix browser or opera mini, it will show images but no function key. I like the phone especially it camera though it's can be hot as iron. I once use it to iron my clothes. Secondly the battery life is 85%. Am managing it for now till I have money to get a better phone.

Do you have a smartphone or a computer?

Luckily I have both, but if I were to pick one of these two, it's definitely the computer, maybe a couple years from now when the Dex option from Samsung gets upgraded I might incline more to a smartphone but for now I'd stick with the computer.

For those who haven't heard about Samsung Dex you basically connect your samsung smartphone (I remember it's only the S series) to a monitor and it becomes a PC, the smartphone's screen becomes a touchpad and you can work/edit/write on the monitor just like you'd be using a computer.

And you might ask yourself why? Well I enjoy the "space" a computer grants me, I currently run a 3 monitor setup and I could never get used to using only 1 like in the "old times", that's why a smartphone is out of question at the moment.

I want to be able to work on a monitor, have something running on the second one (tv series/youtube/movies) and the third one maybe run something that helps the work on the main one (Photoshop/Illustrator/Premiere/ Coding IDE ...).

It's my understanding this is possible with every phone. The keyboard is connected via blutooth and a cable is needed to connect a monitor or TV. Am I wrong?

You go for the computer because you never make phone calls?

It's my understanding this is possible with every phone.

Not with every phone, only a few brands with a few models so far.

Samsung - Dex
Motorola - Ready-For
Huawei - Desktop Mode
Xiaomi - MIUI Desktop mode

But for each brand only specific models have this option, usually the top ones.

Keyboard and Mouse can be connected via Bluetooth, the cable goes to a monitor/tv but I've seen some cases where you could connect it via wi-fi direct, but not sure how this works yet.

I've seen videos with people connecting a controller to play games on it.

Yea, the computer brings more entertainment, I don't think I've made more than 20-30 phone calls in 2024.

It sounds you make more calls than I do. 🤣. I might have made 3 phone calls but can be not a single one since I had to buy credit and if not the company would end my number. I mainly pay to keep it and lost money due to this fact more than five times.

Can't you get some sort of subscription? We have these starting from 2-3€, with unlimited 4G internet and some free minutes that no one ever uses. With a subscription you automatically pay the monthly fee and you can't lose the number.

Subscription with us always come with a fee. I gave up on that, had it with my first phone. Never called, had to pay for 2 years about 25 if not 38 euros! It was a very expensive phone.
Btw all simcards are registered.

Komputer untuk pekerjaan berat seperti pekerjaan kantoran dan gaming. Sementara Smartphone untuk pemakaian sehari-hari dan bisa untuk mengerjakan pekerjaan penting juga termasuk pekerjaan kantor beserta ada gaming juga didalamnya.

Perangkat komputer sudah banyak ditinggalkan saat ini, banyak perusahaan beralih kepada Laptob dan ini juga tergantung seberat apa pekerjaan akan tetap dikerjakan dengan komputer, karena laptop hampir menyerupai komputer dalam programnya dan berbeda akan fisik utamanya, laptob lebih ramping yang bisa dibawa kemana-mana dan komputer hanya bisa ditempatkan disuatu tempat dan akan susah untuk dipindahkan.

Smartphone atau seluler pintar menjadi pilihan orang-orang di zaman sekarang selain beberapa aplikasinya sudah ada Word excel dan banyak aplikasi yang mudah diunduh di playstore atau toko online lainnya, Selain mudah digunakan dan bisa dibawa kemana-mana.

Intinya smarphone menjadi pilihan dan komputer tetap diperlukan disaat mendesak. Semua ini menurut pendapat saya yang merasakan dalam keseharian.
Seorang programer akan menolak Laptob sebagai alat untuk dia bekerja dan akan menggunakan Komputer, sedangkan seorang asisten perbankan akan menggunakan Laptop sebagai alat untuk dia bekerja dengan mudah yang hanya sekedar mengisi data dan mengetik ringan.
Smartphone dan Komputer merupakan kebutuhan orang yang tidak bisa dipisahkan dikarenakan keduanya dibutuhkan oleh orang-orang yang membutuhkannya.

Saya juga lebih suka pakai smartphone untuk segala hal, kecuali kalau lagi kerja di kantor. Karena enggak boleh pakai HP saat kerja. 😔

Menurut pendapat saya, tergantung jenis pekerjaan yang di lakukan sehari-hari. Di zaman yang serba digital saat ini memang sangat di butuhkan sekali smartphone yang mendukung pekerjaan di segala bidang. Namun beberapa pekerjaan ada yang mengharusnya untuk lebih mementingkan device seperti komputer dari pada smartphone. Pekerjaan yang dimaksud seperti di bidang digital printing, video editor, desain grafis, digital marketing dan beberapa pekerjaan lain nya.

Gracias a Dios tengo un telefono y tambien una computadora, los dos son igualmente necesarios, son funciones pueden ser similares pero la eficacia de estas depende de quien las ejecute, por ejemplo un telefono es necesario para mantener comunicacion con los demas de una forma sencilla y accesible, mientras tanto una computadora nos puede ser util para realizar trabajos u otros proyectos sea de la universidad o del trabajo, personalmente creo que todos los usuarios de Steemit debemos tener estos aparatos, el telefono que es necesario para capturar momentos mediante fotografias y una computadora para plasmar nuestras ideas en los post de forma mas organizada.
