Steem greetings, @everyone, and welcome to my blog as I present my weekly report as the Steem Representative. My report for this week spans from the 28th of May to the 4th of June 2025.

It has been an amazing week with online and offline commitments, especially with my relocation with family to a new environment, though with no major setbacks. We are gradually adapting, and work continues as normal.
That said, I will share my different activities carried out across the platform within the above-stated period.
Activities in Steem Cameroon Community. |
---|
We held our usual weekly online meeting, we continued to encourage old inactive members to activate their accounts and stay active because we believed in the slogan “We are stronger together”.
I continued to follow up on the discussion with @blanchechi, @pchords4, @nforyembe, @muluhpenn, @tanjong-mirian, and @nsangou-rudolf, who promised to be back fully but have not yet fulfilled that promise. They keep giving me promises to return active, but I'm yet to see that happen.
As a plagiarism leader and actively fighting all forms of abuse in the community, I had to ensure that content creators create quality content free from any form of abuse in the community.
I continued to caution steemians, especially newcomers, about clicking on phishing links and operating 3rd party DApps via Discord. This is because they risk losing their Steemit accounts to hackers. I also informed them about “account recovery” within 30 days if otherwise they stand to lose the account to hackers.
I continued with the mentorship of some newbies via Discord on the importance of being consistent, creating quality content, paying attention to contest rules and most importantly, engaging with other users via meaningful comments. I cautioned them to also refrain from using AI to create content because we have a zero-tolerance policy towards AI users and plagiarists. I encouraged them to constantly power up steem to increase their steem power and support each other.
Contest |

This is week 9 of the act of kindness contest on the steem-cameroon community to enable users to create different dynamics of content. I sponsored the contest with 10 SP. This will be a weekly contest.

I also announced the winners of the previous week's contest, and prizes were sent as SP from my account.
Steemit Promotion. |
---|
I carried out face-to-face discussions with 7 people, hoping they would find interest in joining, and I would mentor them.
I continued to use my WhatsApp status to promote Steemit to my contacts. During this week’s promotion, I was not able to create any new accounts, but hopefully, one day, someone will find interest in creating an account. I do not want to pressure people to create dormant accounts.
Content Creation With @chant Account |
---|
It was another week for me to share content on diverse topics on the platform. Below is some of the content I shared.
Power Up Liquid Steem |
---|
I powered up some liquid steem, which enabled me to add my SP to support other content creators on the platform.
Support Other Content Creators with a @chant Account. |
---|
I used my effective Steem power of over 70k to support steemians with quality content on the platform.

Preference was given to authors writing creative and quality articles across the platform. Over the week, I reached out to 90 accounts and upvoted 120 posts with a CSI score of 14.4.
At this juncture, I have come to the end of my presentation of my weekly activities report.
