I am @hudamalik20 from Pakistan. I hope you all are doing great in your life , today I am going to participate in this SC S24W1: Animales organized by @jesusnunez . As explained and taught in the contest post, I will draw a turtle and also do shading on it.
Honestly, I am not very good at drawing, but after reading the contest post and following the instructions given, I decided to give it a try. I hope you will like my drawing.
Since I cannot share my selfie with the drawing, I have written my username, the contest name, and the date directly on my drawing.
First, I drew a large oval to form the turtle’s body. Then, I drew a smaller oval on the right side which would become the turtle’s head.
In the next step, I connected the body and the head using two curved lines one line joined the body and neck, and the other line connected the head to the body.
Inside the turtle’s body, I drew three curved lines to divide the shell into different sections. After that, I added vertical lines to create smaller segments, just like the pattern usually seen on a turtle’s shell.
Then, I drew a small tail and also marked the areas where the turtle’s legs would be placed.
I lightly erased the extra guidelines to clean the drawing and started shaping the small shell sections properly. I also added little toes to the legs and detailed them carefully with a pencil.
After that, I darkened the important parts of the drawing with a pencil and erased any extra or unwanted lines around the legs and neck to make the drawing look neat.
Then, I started shading. First, I began shading the upper sections. In the beginning, I was a little confused about how to shade properly, but then I understood that the corners should be shaded darker and the center should be kept lighter.
I shaded the sides a bit darker and kept the middle light to create a nice realistic effect.
After practicing a little, I started shading the body smoothly so that it would look natural. I shaded the turtle’s shell and body carefully to give a depth effect.
I also added small cracks and little circular shapes inside the shell to make it look more realistic.
I have learned from this experience that when we draw or shade, we should do it patiently. Taking more time and working carefully gives a more beautiful and neat result. I have put my full effort into this drawing, and I really liked how it turned out. I hope you all will also like my drawing.
If there are any mistakes or anything missing, you can kindly mention it. I am very happy to share my drawing with you, and I thank you all for your support.
That's it from today’s blog. I hope you liked it. With best wishes. Now I would like to invite:
@mile16 @norat and @josepha to participate in this amazing contest.

Yes, I understand, it's good that you understand the importance of hijab.
But what do you think when you use so many cover photos of women who don't wear hijab for your posts which are then seen by many other men, does this increase your reward? :D

Thank you for your concern. I always try my best to stay within the limits of modesty.
The images I use for cover photos are free available on websites these are clicked by their choice . When I use pictures clicked by myself from my surroundings, I am very careful and try to avoid including anything inappropriate.
InshaAllah, I will be even more careful in the future. May Allah guide us all towards what pleases Him the most. Ameen.

¡Hola!
