Hello everyone hope yu all fine by god grace
Today I want to share my deep thoughts about labour.
Just by hearing the word labourer, one starts feeling poverty. I have also associated this word labourer with another name, that is, helpless. Whether it is called helpless or labourer, both seem to be the same and both are synonyms of each other.
Whenever I hear the word labourer or should I say that whenever I have heard the word labourer since childhood, a different feeling arises in my mind towards these people. Whenever I see them working, I feel satisfied. Doing labour continuously the whole day in the cold and heat is such a hard work. In my childhood, I often used to say to my mother that how did uncle do so much work. Yes, the poor guys would be very tired, many times I used to secretly give fruits to them because often I used to hear that the poor guys can hardly get two tears a day, then how would they be able to eat things with great difficulty, drenched in sweat.
Whenever I used to see them working, I used to feel a strange kind of pain in my heart, but as I grew up, I started to understand that whatever work a person starts doing, he gets used to it, but still I don't know why, seeing their hard work sometimes I feel very sad because what all things a labourer has to do while doing labour We have to face challenges like throwing intestines upwards, taking light by running down the stairs, climbing high walls and applying plaster etc. or celebrating Diwali, seeing all this my heart sinks.
The house of the owner of our school is being constructed, which I keep watching being built throughout the day. Seeing the labourers working in it, I felt like writing something about their hard work.
Our house is the result of the hard work done by a labourer and when the bank is properly ready, then those labourers are not even allowed to enter the house. I am very sad about this. O God, give me such strength and order that whenever we build our new house, the labourers who built it should be allowed to live in that house because we are mostly not able to do this because we do not like their lifestyle and we are not able to tolerate some things. Anyway, nowadays houses are being built with new techniques which have become quite easy but still few things happen like this. Yes, which only labourers have to do.
It takes a lot of time to build a house and one has to face a lot of difficulties too. Just as a child grows from a small child, similarly by the time a house is built, it becomes a full house and changes from ugliness to beauty. I am looking at all this. Maybe this house will be complete. I am eagerly waiting for it. But looking at the work done by the labourers, even today my heart gets complete. They do a lot of hard work. Climbing on children, passing through narrow paths and reaching the roof, all this is easy. There is no less, that is why I want that laborers should also be respected, in fact labour also should be respected but still they do not get the respect which they really deserve.
Thank you for participating…..
Your reflection on the life of workers is both heartfelt and deeply moving. It's clear that you have great appreciation for the hard work they put in, often under difficult circumstances, without the recognition they really deserve.
