Assalam O Alaikum to all my Steemit lovely and nice members. By the mercy of Allah and the prayers of my parents, I am completely good, thank God, and I hope that you all are doing well too. Today I am once again participating in this community contest hosted by @abdullahw2 , who has organized a very interesting and informative contest "The Role Of Hormones In Our Body". I thank you for organizing such a good and informative contest. This contest and all other organized contest not only give us the opportunity to share our thoughts, but also provide us with a lot of information about the thoughts of our other friends.

What are hormones and what are their functions in the human body?

Hormones are important part of body. These are very small chemical carriers. These are made by glands in our body. Hormones flow in the blood and control the different body functions like growth, sleep, mood, digestion and reproduction. If there is no hormones, our body cannot work well. Hormones are like electricity powers machine. It keeps our body active and healthy and maintains everything in balance.

Name any three hormones and briefly mention their roles.

Name of three hormones are here with their role.

  • Insulin: It controls the sugar level in our blood. Pancreas made Insulin. Absence of it diabetic problem occures.

  • Adrenaline: This is another kind of Hormones. It gives us energy at the time of stress and danger.

  • Estrogen: It is important for the growth and function for the reproductive organs including uterus,
    Fallopian tubes and vaginas.

Have you ever experienced any health issues related to hormonal imbalance? Share your experience or general knowledge.

Not at all, I have never experienced hormonal imbalance myself but my close friends Ayesha has faced.The mood suddenly swings due to irregular periods and unwanted weight gain. When doctor checked and diagnosed with PCOS. It is a common hormonal disorder. After proper medication had make serious changes to her diet and lifestyle. Slowly, her symptoms improving, but it took time. It conclude that the hormones are very powerful.

How can we maintain a healthy hormonal balance in our daily life?

Lifestyle can helps body to keep our hormones healthy. This means we should eating healthy food, having sound sleep, doing regular exercise and managing stress. We should avoid too much junk food and sugar. It also helps when we are eating on time and drinking is too much quantity. If we are feeling unfit, we should talk to a doctor. Healthy habits keep our hormones in balance and our body strong.
