There is a lot to learn from your community, and today I want to share an interesting blog about Pakistan's national bird "Chakor" with you all, hopefully it will be like you.

Pakistan's national bird is "Chakor". It is a beautiful bird of a medium tall with a scientific name Alectoris Chukar. Chakor is mostly found in mountainous areas such as Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Balochistan, and Gilgit -Baltistan. Its red lime, red legs, and beautiful designs on the neck make it unique to other birds.

Interesting Fact: The Moon's Madness

The most famous and interesting thing about Chakor is that it loves the moon! Yes, in our folk literature, poetry and stories, the concept is very well known that Chakor keeps watching the moon with jealousy. Although it is just a concept scientifically, it highlights the romance of Chakor and gives it a special place in our culture.

My Personal Meeting from Chakor

Yes, I have seen Chakor with my own eyes! The incident happened in a mountainous region of northern Pakistan, where I went for a walk. In the morning, the light fog, and the soft light of the sun appeared to jump on a dizziness. Its color, motion and sound filled my heart with joy. That scene is still fresh in my memories today.

Why was Chakor Chosen a National Bird?

There are several beautiful reasons behind the Chakor's national bird:

Chakor is not just a bird, but a combination of emotions, nature, and culture. It is an important part of our natural environment and teaches the new generation to love nature. The story of his voice, movements, and love associated with the moon strengthens our traditions.
