Today, I'm glad to participate in this wonderful contest in the respect of "My National Emblems | Animal" announced by the Steem4Bangladesh community. As a Bangladeshi have a deep love for national symbols, but in addition to our flag, I have found our national ANIMAL to be closest to my heart. And here, I am going to write about a few facts and how I feel about our National Animal which is a symbol of pride and strength for our country.

What is your country's National Animal?

My country is Bangladesh, and our national animal is Royal Bengal Tiger. It is one of the world’s most powerful and beautiful wild animals. Royal Bengal tiger is a symbol of strength, courage and pride of our Nation.

What intrigues me most about the Royal Bengal Tiger is its strength and understated grace. It prowls on its own, moves without sound and carries with it a royal dignity. Unfortunately, this beautiful animal is endangered as a result of deforestation, climate change and illegal poaching. We must use the tools at our disposal as a nation to safeguard and uphold our rich wildlife legacy.

As far as I’m concerned, the Royal Bengal Tiger is more than an animal it’s a proud symbol of our identity and our natural beauty.

Can you describe one characteristic that makes your country's national animal special?

The Royal Bengal Tiger is an exceptional creature, one of its many characteristics is its powerful strength and hunting abilities. This mighty beast has a reputation for stalking prey quietly and delivering a fast, powerful blow at the perfect time. It hunts solo, predominantly at night, and its patience and precision are second to none.

It also amazes me that it moves with such grace and agility given its big size. It’s like the forest has reverence for its presence. This power is not only about its revealing, competitive it reflects a calm confidence something that makes these species unique compared to a lot of other wild animals.

To me, this synergistic magnificence and elegance of the Royal Bengal Tiger makes it not only a feral animal but an epitome of bravery and authentic beauty.

Sundarbans, the biggest mangrove forest in the world located in southwestern Bangladesh is where Royal Bengal Tiger mainly lives. This forest, the world’s largest contiguous man-made forest, covers the delta of the Ganges, Brahmaputra and Meghna rivers and is full of wildlife, though the Royal Bengal Tiger the forest’s most well-known resident. That swampy, dense landscape of the Sundarbans is prime territory for these tigers.

The maze-like waterways and thick mangrove vegetation provide both a shelter and a hunting ground for them, enabling them to flourish in this peculiar environment. The Sundarbans are more than just home to the tiger they are an essential part of Bangladesh’s natural heritage, and the Royal Bengal tiger lies at the heart of its identity.

The tigers in the Sundarbans serve as a testament to the importance of protecting these forests because the tigers depend on them for survival, and so do the rest of the world when it comes to the ecosystem balance.

Yes, I have experienced sighting of Royal Bengal Tiger in front of me in real time and it is moment which I will never forget. I visited the zoo and saw this beautiful animal.” They had prepared a wonderful habitat to mimic the tiger's natural lifestyle. And there I stood, in awe, watching the glistening and powerful structure of its body, the dramatic orange and black stripes, the steady but fierce gaze.

Even behind bars, the tiger had a certain raw presence a reminder of its beauty and power in nature. The way it moved and the way it carried itself commanded respect, even in captivity. Seeing such a symbol of our nation up close was a humbling experience.
