Achievement 2: Basic Security on Steemit by @yaladeeds

Hello my fellow Steemians, hope you all had a productive day as I did. Today I want to present my Achievement 2 task as my Achievement 1 has been accepted and approved. It is about the basic Security of Steemit.

Question 1: Have you retrieved all your keys on Steemit

Yes, I have retrieved all my keys. I retrieved them after my account was created. I further proceeded to download my key information in a PDF form, I created a file for it and had it saved.

I know security keys are important and carry every access data to my Steem account.

Question 2: Do you know each of these key functions and restrictions?

Yes, I do know how each key functions. And I know it applied restrictions when used wrongly. I know when each key is needed and when to use it. It is an important introduction lesson every good mentor should direct and guide newcomers on. Here is an illustration below;

Question 3: How do you plan to keep your master password?

As I was told of the importance and strength of my master key. A 3rd party having access to my master key has complete access to my account and can control it as they wish.

So I have saved it in my E-mail and also have it saved in my hard drive and wrote it in my secret diary just so I can have online and offline access to it whenever I need it.

Question 4: Do you know how to transfer your STEEM token to another STEEM user account?

Yes, I now know how to transfer my STEEM to a token and would love to explain.

• On my profile, I click on "Wallet" and log in

• I locate the wallet and click on "STEEM" and then Transfer.

• I fill in the transaction details, then click "next" to confirm the transfer, and finally click "OK" to process the transaction by using my private key.! Illustration below;

Question 5: Do you know how to power up your STEEM?

Yes, I do know how to power up.

• I click on my profile, go

• Wallet" and log in with my active key.

• On the drop-down menu, click on "Power up and input the required amount. Illustration steps below;

This is a great way of moving forward as a beginner because these tasks have helped make me better, it creates more room for research and training to be able to do better and impact other newcomers as we grow. Thank you. ....
