When it comes to cryptocurrency investment, it is very important to pay attention to the wallet you are storing your cryptocurrency assets in. For me, before I invest in any cryptocurrency, I must make sure that there is at least a trusted and secure wallet that is supported before I go-ahead to invest especially when it comes to long term investments. However, it is always a good idea to make sure that the cryptocurrency you want to invest in is at least supported by one of the popular and secure cryptocurrency wallets.
At the moment, there are a good number of reliable and secure cryptocurrency wallets that are available to store and hold cryptocurrency assets – ranging from web wallets, mobile wallets, desktop wallet, hardware wallets and paper wallet, all these wallet types are good for storing and holding any cryptocurrency. It is important to know that before choosing a wallet to store and hold any cryptocurrency, it is very important to pay attention to security and also pay attention to whether the wallet provides you with the keys or seed phrase and gives you full control of your funds.
My favourite type of wallet for holding cryptocurrencies is a non-custodial multi-coin wallet. This is because multi-coin wallets give you the ability to hold many different cryptocurrencies in one wallet, which is amazing because you don’t need to have many different wallets for different cryptocurrencies which can take a lot of storage space.
Non-Custodial – Multicoin Wallet – Trust Wallet
Without a doubt, non-custodial wallets are the best type of wallets to store and hold cryptocurrencies because you have full control of your cryptocurrency assets and funds. For me, I like Trust Wallet because of its simplicity and easy to use, secure and give full control of funds by providing keys and seed phrase. Getting started with trust wallet is a straight forward process, it is just a matter of following the setup process. After setting up your wallet, remember to back up the seed phrase as that is what gives you full control of your assets.
In this post, I will be demonstrating how to import a different multicoin wallet into Trust Wallet using the seed key.
