One of the most powerful driving forces that can bring about success, fulfilment and unimaginable achievement is a clear definition of your purpose - that is your "why." When you have a deep understanding of the reasons you do something, you will have the zeal to get it done. When a purpose of something is not known, then there is no enthusiasm to get it done well and it will stand the risk of being abused. Your "why" is the inner driving force that keeps you going even when faced with difficult and tough moments. Just to let you know, when the "why" is clearly stated, the "how" and "when" will be easy to be defined.

You will be surprised how many people go through life without even knowing their purpose nor what they are to do. This is why some people just merely exist but without truly fulfilling the demands of living. Some people may even think that making money or achieving recognition is all that they would ever wanted, but as soon as they get it, they will go back to feeling empty. This is because they have not truly discovered their purpose in life - their "why" of living. Just to let you know, the external rewards you get from people cannot be compared to your Internal purpose. One of the reasons people give up when faced with challenges is because they have not discovered their purpose for living.
When your actions are backed up by passion, which comes as a result of answering the "why" question, you will become almost unstoppable. When I was in school, there was this my friend who we attended the same school, though different departments, as he was in law department. He parents wanted him to study law because that was also their own profession and they wanted him to take over their chambers. He said he wanted to become a fine artist, but his parent insisted that he will be a lawyer. Well, he had to concede to his parents' wishes even though it was not what he wanted.
Throughout his law school, he faced so much difficulties and just barely passed. After his convocation, he handed over his law degree to his parents and told them he has done their wish. He sought admission again to pursue a career in fine art. He graduated with honours and got scholarship to further his education and even got a lot of government supports. At this moment, he has a very large art gallery that has welcomed visitors from many parts of the country and from outside. He found his purpose of living and it became easy for him because he is passionate about art. When you have answered the "why" question sincerely, every other thing will fall into place.

One of the good things about knowing your "why" is that it gives an undeniable meaning to your life. For example, when you wake up in the morning, you will already know what to do, how the day will go, your tasks and activities, so it will help you to stay focused, and will also make you to work better towards fulfilling your goal. This is just like when you want to travel, you will already know your destination and where you are going to, so the journey will not be tiring. Even if you encounter traffic challenges, you will not be discouraged because you already know where you are going to. Instead, you can choose to go through another route which will still lead you to the same destination.
To find your "why," you need to take your time to reflect on yourself. Take some moments to consider what really makes you to feel alive. There is something that you are built to do, something that you have passion for, something that you feel attracted or drawn to, something that you would still do even if no one supports or monitors you - this can point out to your "why." Always remember that no one is without a definite purpose to fulfill, but you are the one that needs to discover your own. It is when you have found your purpose and then be at the center of it that you can say that you are truly living.
