The Diary game. A Day of Work, Nature, and Community

Greetings, dear friends, how are you all? I hope you all are fine and enjoying your day. I wish for you all good health, wealth and a prosperous time ahead. Today I am here to share with you yet another day of my life and I hope you all will get time to read and know about one more day of my life and also find it worthwhile to read and vote.

I got up very early in the morning because of the chirping birds that came to the window of my room, striking the glass panes as if there were some empty space to pass through. It was such an annoying noise that I got up, and after that, I wasn’t able to sleep again. I took it as an opportunity to start my day early. Before doing anything else, I purified myself by performing ablution and then began my day by offering the morning prayers at the nearby mosque. After I was done with prayers and making supplications, I returned home and immediately got to some important tasks like removing weeds from the lawn and watering the grass, as it’s required to water the grass very early in the day. Once that was done, I did some physical exercises to help myself stay fit and enjoy the process. By doing some strenuous exercises, I was able to burn some calories and make myself healthy and sound. Once I was done with all my chores, I had my breakfast and then got ready for the office, as I have been assigned a new charge since last week. I am quite reeling under pressure these days, as my brother’s marriage is approaching and I have to make all the necessary arrangements for the ceremony, along with other important tasks that pertain to me as an official in the accounts section of my office.

Today, I had important work involving the spraying of spring pesticides over the apple orchards located quite far from my village. For that, we needed to take a tractor with us, which carries water and has a pump already installed on it. The tractor helps us finish the job quickly. In the afternoon, I left my office with the consent of my boss and went to spray these pesticides on the apples. Spring pesticide spraying has become quite important because a number of pests attack the fruits throughout the year, and to keep our crop suitable for export later in the year, we need to stay alert and cautious at all times.

It was in the afternoon when we left for the place, and it wasn’t just me—some other neighbours who also have their orchards in that area accompanied us. While we were approaching our orchard, I got an opportunity to interact with the tribals who live there and who have not been allowed to go to the upper reaches where they usually go in the summer season to rear their sheep. This time, due to tensions between the two countries, India and Pakistan, the shepherds and other tribals have not been allowed to move towards these frontier areas to ensure everyone’s safety. However, this has resulted in a serious economic loss for these tribals, as they now need to arrange feed for the animals they rear. They could be seen in a very distressed situation, which actually bothers us all because we know how they live their lives.

It’s always a joy to be in the orchard, as it is located in a very peaceful and cool area. I love being there, away from the commotion of daily life, breathing in the fresh air and enjoying the sight of the fruit growing. People could be seen engaged in farming all around, and as they are quite involved with agriculture, they seem very excited about the new season, now that farming has resumed in the valley after a long winter break. As the area is at a high altitude, it offers a beautiful landscape for taking photographs and spending quality time—and I truly love being there.

Later in the day, when I was free, I went to the forest side of the village to spend some time there and enjoy the cool breeze that blows from the deep gorge. It was quite late in the day when I returned home. Upon reaching, I freshened up and had some tea before taking a nap. Later, I visited the village market to buy some groceries and got an opportunity to meet my friends there. Afterward, I returned home, had my dinner, and participated in decision-making at my place, as arrangements for the upcoming marriage were being made.

It was all about my day.Thank you for going through my post. Have a great time ahead.
