Hi friends,
Last week, I went to Kovai Kondattam amusement park, near our town, along with my family. I am going to share about it here in detail. I had already posted about this on Steam Atlas, but in that post I only wrote about this amusement park. Here I'm writing a diary of our experience in the amusement park , hoping you'll like it too.

This amusement park called Coimbatore Celebration is about five kilometers away from Perur Temple in Coimbatore City and about 30 kilometers away from our house. So we left home at 8.30 am because they open it at 10 am. Since there are so many games to play, a whole day is not enough, so I thought we should go there on time and play up to closing time.

We arrived at 10 am as planned, and the park had just opened. Some people were buying tickets before us, so we went and bought tickets. The cost is 800 rupees for adults and 750 rupees for children. After we got the tickets, they allowed our car. We parked the car, got our clothes, and went to the cloakroom.

There are separate changing rooms and black homas for men and women. We went to our respective places and changed our clothes. We thought we could play some dry games before getting into the water. So at first we went to the dashing car station and rode the dashing cars, and we all had fun.

After that, we rode the giant wheel that was rotating on an incline and did a ride. After that, since my children insisted on going into the water, we planned to go into the water. There were many slides there, in one of which you have to slide down in the water like rafting with a balloon. For that, my daughter and I lifted the balloon and went up, and in a short time, we both sat in it and slid down. It was very exciting and scary at the same time. Even though it was only 20-30 seconds to fall from the top, those 20-30 seconds were very scary.

Similarly, we slid down two or three slides, some with a balloon and some without a balloon, and we came down to the bottom without any balloons. It was very fun. Although I was scared, my children were very happy. After that, there was a 5.5-foot swimming pool there, so we decided to go there because my children can swim. Generally, non-swimmers should not go there because they will drown if they go in. The swimming pool was very clean and not crowded, so we spent a lot of time playing in it. My daughter and son enjoyed playing, diving, and swimming in it.

After swimming in the swimming pool, there was a family fun water park nearby. We went there and played with conch slides, springs, water falls, and small games. After swimming in it, the largest water balls nearby were releasing water. Then we went there for a while and soaked in the falls and enjoyed the water fun.

Then the siren sounded that the wave pool was starting. People went there and we also went there. After a while, the wave started and we started playing in it. It was very fun. When the waves came and hit the top, we felt like they were throwing you away.

Similarly, we spent some time playing by visiting all the water fountains there. It was already 2:30 pm and we didn't realize that time had passed. We felt that everyone was getting hungry. We went to the canteen to have some food. There, there were meals, vegetable biryani, puri, and other dishes for sale. We ordered puri and meals and ate them. After that, we relaxed for a while, and then we decided to play dry games as the clothes were dry. We went to dry drygame areas.

There were many games in the dry-games. First, there was a rope grid set up, and the game was like climbing and walking up to the top. We climbed up and played on it, which was a different experience. After that, a big boat swing was set up like a swing. We sat on it and swung. My son was very scared and cried and insisted on getting off, but since he couldn't stop while running, we convinced him to stop and get off.

Similarly, there were many rotating games there, such as sitting on a peacock and playing around or sitting on a frog and playing around. You can ride around while sitting on them, so we also spent some time in them and came out for a while. There were also systems like horses, deer, and cows that were running on motors like jumping. We also sat on them and enjoyed the ride.

After that, we went to the selfie spots and took photos. There are many places where paintings have been painted and announced for taking selfies. There are paintings of apes, elephants, and cranes, which are huge and very beautiful. We stood in front of them and took photos.

Similarly, there were many places to relax for the elderly who brought their children. There were many types of trees, shrubs, and flowering trees, which were very beautiful to look at. There were also parks for small children to play.

We looked at all of them and stopped here and there to take photos. By then, the siren sounded, signaling a close-up. After that, we left and went to get our clothes. We left and came out.
