When Ehsan left for home after his duty at the hospital, it was raining heavily outside. After waiting for a long time, when the rain did not stoppable then, Ehsan finally decided to return home in this heavy rain because the day was their wedding anniversary. The rain on the windshield on the car was so heavy that Ehsan was having a hard time seeing the winding mountain road outside of his car. Suddenly, from the opposite side, a very fast speed freight truck was coming towards him, and the headlight of the truck made Ehsan unable to see the road which made him very nervous and unable to balance, his car went into a deep ravine in the mountain.
Ehsan had a wife named Hamida and a beautiful small daughter in his family. All the family members and friends searched for Ehsan for a long time, but they could not find any trace of him, and as a result, they continued to spend the difficult days of their lives only with the memories of Ehsan.
Ehsan had a twin brother whose name was Mohsan. Due to his bad attitude, he was being abandoned by his family. He was very cunning, slothful, drunk, and a hypocrite person. Being bankrupt he was living his life very miserably. One morning he read the news about the disappearance of his twin brother Ehsan. The news of his twin brother Ehsan's disappearance, instead of causing his pain, brought a glimmer of hope and shrewd intentions into his mind. The news brought a new light to his eyes and a crooked smile to his face.
The next day, at the sound of a doorbell Hamida opened the entrance door of her house. Opening the door, Hamida was very emotional with full of tears in her eyes she saw her husband standing in front of her. She hugged her husband very strongly and cried, "Where did you leave us for so long?" Hamida added, "How could you stay away from us for so many days?" Hearing the crying, her daughter came running from inside and hugged her father while crying.
After Mohsan rested for a while, Hamida came to him and asked him what happened to him. Where had he been all this time? In response, Mohsan told her that he had an accident and had been receiving treatment in a hospital for some time. He cannot remember anything about how he had an accident and how he got admitted to the hospital. Due to this accident, he has lost some of his previous memories due to which he cannot remember many things. This matter really hurts Hamida a lot and she tries to understand that her husband is really mentally disturbed so she decides to keep her husband happy as much as she can.
Hamida was happy that Ehsan had returned home and organized a party at her house. Mohsan expressed his annoyance at the mention of the party and said he was not in a good mood to meet the other family members or friends anymore, this statement of Mohsan made Hamida a little worried. Because Ehsan was always very social and always tried to make a strong bond with his closest ones. He was always surrounded in very difficult times in lives by his family and his friends, which gave him great relief mentally. This sudden change in Ehsan’s characteristics quite surprised Hamida, but later on she made herself aware that this accident innerly broke Ehsan and that time will heal everything.
On the day of the party, Mohsan was a little distant from everyone. Mohsan was unknown to everyone and he thought by being involved with them his own secrets would be revealed soon. This overthinking made him very nervous and made him more restless. At the party, his most special friend Samir came to him and gifted him a pen. But Mohsan was not very happy to receive the gift. His wife noticed this and was very surprised. Because Ehsan accepts any gift from anyone with great gratitude and appreciation, but that day was completely different. Mohsan made an excuse for his illness and left the party very soon this quite shocked everyone. Ehsan never left any party rather he always cheered up everyone to enjoy the party and also made some creative ideas to make the party more lively.
A few months had passed on but Ehsan still did not show any interest in returning to his work, which surprised Hamida a lot. Ehsan was a very responsible and hardworking person in his workplace, he never neglected his duties, but this new Ehsan was a completely different person. Thus, gradually, doubts about Mohsan started deeply growing in Hamida's mind.
One night, Hamida suddenly woke up and turned around to see that Mohsan was not by her side. She was very upset and followed him here and there. Then Hamida found Mohsan in the study room. There, he was working on some work on his laptop, seeing Hamida, he got very nervous and quickly closed the laptop and went to sleep. After Mohsan left, Hamida opened the laptop and saw that Mohsan was searching on the internet for how to duplicate a check. Hamida was very surprised to see this search history and realized that this man never could be her Ehsan. She could not sleep all night and firmly decided what her next step would be.
The next day at noon, Hamida made lunch for Mohsan. For lunch, there was an item of seafood. It was accompanied by a sherbet made of almonds. While eating lunch, she asked Mohsan, “How was today’s lunch?” Mohsan replied that the fish was very good. After the meal, Hamida requested Mohsan to have the sherbet made of almonds. Mohsan drank that sherbet with great satisfaction. Looking at Mohsan very firmly and very sharply, she asked, “Who are you?” In response, Mohsan was very surprised and

said, “I am Ehsan. Don’t you recognize me?” Then Hamida said, “You can never be my Ehsan. The reason is that he is being irritated by seafood. Ehsan never drinks any almond sherbet because he is allergic to almonds.” These words shook Mohsan from the inside and being mum he was looking at Hamida very shockingly. He immediately knelt down on the floor very helplessly and said to Hamida, "Hamida, I’m not Ehsan. I made a mistake, please forgive me."
Slowly, a knock was coming from the door. After pushing the door, many policemen slowly entered the room. They immediately arrested Mohsan and sent him to jail. Later, Mausam confessed all the truth to him.

The moral of this story is that lies, now even though deception gives us happiness, peace, and success, its duration is very short. Truth always wins, the brightness of truth is never covered by the veil of lies. Another lesson of this story is that one person can never take the place of another, every person has different personalities and characteristics that can never be stolen or hidden by anyone else.
Before ending today's post I would not like to miss the opportunity to invite some of my Steemian fellows - @alexanderpeace, @caringmanasseh, and @shadow04 to participate in this amazing contest.
Warm Regards

My dear friend, @zisha-hafiz
I read your story with great attention, I felt that you have written a very beautiful story, if I had to ignore my rules then I would have definitely wanted to give your story the first prize. But I am very sad to say that you did not read the rules of my competition post properly.
**The length of the story should not exceed 300 to 500 words.
**I had clearly written in my competition article that do not write a separate comment to give any moral in your story.
Despite writing such an excellent story, you have ignored these two rules, this series of mine is going to continue for a long time. I request you with folded hands to definitely participate in them. But do not ignore the rules.
Always your well-wisher and friend.

Ohhh my friend such a heart breaking story. I was glued reading through it all and didn’t even miss a bit. Mohsans character was a bad one but somewhere down the line I was hoping for a glimmer of hope that Ehsan was going to come back or that he’s where about would be known. It’s so sad to know he didn’t make it or come back to his family.

Thank you so much dear friend @alexanderpeace for deeply engaging in my story. Yes, you’re right Mohsan’s character was really worse and I also deeply felt bad for Ehsan who couldn’t return to his family for the story demand and it’s a great relief that this not happened in reality. Your golden words always mean a lot to me. Stay blessed and happy.
