"Contest - Steemit Talent Hunt | Drawing of a Duck".

Greetings friends! How are you today? I believe you are all fine as I am. l appreciate @faran-nabeel for organising this beautiful contest. Drawing is a talent I have, and I am trying to see that I develop it. This week, I drew a Duck to showcase my talent in drawing, and I believe that everyone will appreciate this 3D drawing.

Materials For Drawing

• Plain white embossed paper
• Pencil
• Eraser
• Sharpener
• Colours

Step 1
I began by first writing my name and the date. I then continue by drawing the bill, the crown and the neck. I also drew the chin, the throat and lastly the eye.

Step 2
Here, I drew the back, breast, and the belly. I also drew the rump and the tail.

Step 3
I drew the legs of the duck. I began with the shank and then the Webb foot. I also separate the wing from the flank.

Step 4
I shaded the bill using a pencil and violet colour. I also shaded the head, the eye and neck of the duck. For the eye, I used a pencil and brown colour for other parts of the duck. I also apply a violet colour on the neck.

Step 5
I shaded the breast and the belly using violet, brown and yellow colours.

Step 6
At this step, I coloured the wings, the rump, the tail and the under tail coverts. This was achieved using a pencil, brown colour, yellow colour and violet colour.

Step 7
I shaded the legs of the duck. I began with the Shang and then the Webb foot. I used brown colour, yellow colour and then a pencil for the shading. Lastly, I shaded the shadow of the duck.

Step 8
To make my 3D drawing more real, I cut out the top part of the paper to make it look like the duck just climbed the paper from the mat.
