What is your full name and what does it mean?

My full name is Bin Tul Huda. It is an Arabic name, and its meaning is Daughter of Guidance. I really love the meaning of my name because it reminds me of a beautiful message. Whenever I hear or think about my name,, I feel that it teaches me to walk on the right path and also guide others towards the right way.

The right path is the way shown by Allah and His Prophet (PBUH). It means I should follow Islam truly, stay away from sins, and ask for forgiveness. I should also help others choose the right path and become a good person. So, the meaning of my name is very beautiful and full of guidance.

Why were you given this name or who gave it to you?, is there a story behind it?.

Yes, there is a beautiful story behind my name. My name Bin Tul Huda was given to me by my aunt (my mother’s sister). She is an Alima (Islamic scholar), and she had traveled to Iran and Iraq for her religious studies and also for ziyarat (visiting holy places).

While she was in Iraq, she heard this name and found it very beautiful. She also learned its meaning and the history behind it. She found out that this name was related to a famous writer or religious lady in Iraq who used to guide people through her writing and knowledge. Because of her good character and guidance, people gave her this title or name.

My aunt liked this name so much that she decided in her heart that if she ever had a daughter or someone close to her had a baby girl, she would name her Bin Tul Huda. When I was born, she told my parents about the name and its beautiful meaning. My parents also loved it and chose this name for me. I feel very proud and happy that my name has such a lovely and meaningful background.

Are you satisfied that name or do you want to change it? If yes then which name you want to keep and why?

Yes, Alhamdulillah, I am satisfied with my name now. I really like it and I find it very beautiful. But if I talk about my childhood, at that time I didn’t know anyone else with the same name. People used to ask me again and again about my name who gave it, why it was chosen, and why it’s such a long and unique name.

Some people even made fun of it or said it’s hard to remember or pronounce. That made me feel a little bad, and I used to think maybe my name should be something shorter just one or two words , something simple and easy for others to say and remember.

But when I grew up and I learned the meaning and story behind my name, I started to love it. Now I feel proud of it because it has a beautiful meaning and a deep message. So no, I don’t want to change my name I am happy with it.

Tell us about your username on Steemit is it same as your real name or is it different? Or how do you keep your that username on Steemit?.

My username on Steemit is hudamalik20. It is a bit different from my full real name. Actually, I had already used this name on my other social media accounts like Instagram. I chose this name because I didn’t want to use my full real name online, as I prefer to keep some privacy.

“Huda” is part of my real name, and “Malik” is our family cast name. So I combined these to make Huda Malik. I don’t share much about myself or post a lot on social media, mostly I just use it for scrolling. That’s why I liked the idea of using a simple and short name.

When I was making my Steemit account, I thought I should use the same name that I already have on my other accounts. I also added “20” at the end because I personally like this number. That’s how I created my username hudamalik20.
