Second week of April, we celebrated our 35th Church Anniversary. The day after that, the congregation decided to have a church bonding to a cheapest beach here in our place since we were too many if we will choose an expensive one. To attend the celebration, there were many workers whp filed a leave since it was monday for them to attend of the said bonding.
We decided to go to Boyax Beach since they dont ask for entrance fee. We just paid for their cottage which cost 1500php (150steem). And we took only one cottage.
We prepared kinilaw na isda, grilled fish, and lechon paksiw from the remaining lechon of our anniversary. Boyaks is located at Marigondon, just beside Ocean Pearl. It is a bit far from our area. If you want to take a ride, you can have 2 rides. 1 cab and a tricycle.
We went there around 10 in the morning and went home around 4:30. Everyone really enjoyed the bonding though their space is just a bit narrow.
In our bonding, one of the church member was celebrating her birthday. And so our host pastor give a short message for the birthday girl and offer a prayer for her. Then eating of cakes afterwards.
This was our 2nd church bonding. We usually do it so we can build the unity and have fun among the group. So in the years to come, we will have a smooth sailing.
